I was just wondering if there is anyone else applying for the 2014 spring program. It's my first time applying to a nursing school so I'm excited! My HESI is overall average 86% (not that great) and overall gpa 3.7, also I'd be considered a transfer student. Hope to hear from ya'll!
I googled the name they gave us for the CPR certification, and I found a phone number that was not working. So I found an AMA class on the 19th. I think we just have to be signed up by the 15th and state when we plan on getting the certification...or make a side note about it. I couldnt find any classes within this next week to have it done by the time our forms are due anyway..
Hey guys, don't know about you all but kinda starting to get overwhelmed. :/ quick question does anyone remember DeDe saying that not ALL vaccines had to be done by the time the forms are submitted, like is it ok to leave a couple vaccines blank? Thanks! Mailing my stuff tomorrow, feel like I'm forgetting something!
Yes, you can have some of the vaccine lines blank; especially if you needed those that required more than one dose. I'm pretty sure she had said that even though you may not have them all done yet, as long as you send in the form by the required the date that would show proof you are in the process of getting them done before the first day of class.
Don't get overwhelmed! I know it's easier said than done, because believe me when I say that I am still quite overwhelmed!! Just know that if God brought us to it, He will get us through it! All of these moments of overwhelmingness are just preparing us for what we are about to encounter!! All of us can do it!!
Also, our orientation in January is just the 9th & 10th right? The 8th is just the BBQ cookout??
Hi Everyone!!! ((I know im kind late))..but I am a transfer student as well accepted to Baylor's nursing program spring 2014. As I was reading alot of the comments I am glad to see that most of you guys are going through some of the same things I am going through. its comforting to know that I am not alone!!! I am also a bit overwhelmed with EVERYTHING that is going on. A little bit about myself I am 22 I transferred from UT Arlington, I have a two year old daughter who I absolutely adore and I currently work as a pharm tech. I am very excited and nervous for the future but overall I cant wait to get started!
Hey Guys,
A quick qusetion, Do we have to pay the $25 for the parking? the website says, FEE WAIVER: Full-time BUMC or BHCS Employees ONLY, do not pay the required fee. If you qualify, the student must register with Parking Services to obtain a hang tag allowing them to park in Lot 14. So i am assuming we don't have to pay! Am i right?

I went to the parking services center here at BUMC and he said that I don't have to pay (because I am an employee there) but students that aren't do. The way he explained it, he's waiting on someone from the school to send him the list of students that are going to need a parking sticker. Which is why (Im guessing) it's something we don't have to worry about maybe later.
