Baylor BSN 2014 Spring Applicants

Published

I was just wondering if there is anyone else applying for the 2014 spring program. It's my first time applying to a nursing school so I'm excited! My HESI is overall average 86% (not that great) and overall gpa 3.7, also I'd be considered a transfer student. Hope to hear from ya'll!

No problem, wantobe!

I tried paying mine and I had no luck thru the goBaylor acct so I called and left a message. I'll let you guys know what they say.

Ok thank you

The glitch to pay the deposit has been fixed we should be able to pay it now.

Did you pay yours because I am still having problems? I talked to someone and they said it was their system but it should have been fixed.

Yes ma'am I did around 6:00pm. I was able I view my financial and scholarship award prior to paying the deposit and once I paid it and did not let me see it again so I'm calling them tomorrow. I need to know how much in loans I'm going to need to request. :/

haha I feel old too! I just turned 25 and was married over the summer.. So I hear ya! ;)

I'm 26 and married so I feel 'old' too compared to traditional students. It made me feel better to know at the orientation that most transfer Spring students aren't the traditional fall students. Looks like there's a few of us in the same boat :)

I live in Allen/McKinney and will be commuting. Anyone else up north?

Hey guys as I've shared earlier, I have a 2 kids under the age of five. I am new to Dallas and do you guys know about a good public school district to live in ---for my kids-- and less than 10 miles from BAYLOR?

catherineMay I would totally be up to meet up before hand. I'll be out there officially during the last week of December.

I'm also thinking about going to the BBQ. I figure it can't hurt, right?!

Hlauren77 I went around last weekend to look at some apartments - so overwhelming when you have just a day. There's a group of them referred to as "the village" and they range from all price ranges. They're close to school and that's probably the area I'll be moving to.

I don't think any of us should feel old! It looks like we're all the in same age group - I'm 27 :)

Ashieko we will definitely do that. I think it will make me feel so much better to meet some people before school actually starts. I will be moving out there around the same time.

I have heard about the village as well, I didn't get the chance to check it out last weekend but it sounds like it might be a good option.

Has anyone signed up to take the CPR class through the person the school recommended?
