Baylor BSN 2014 Spring Applicants

Is there anyone that has applied, will apply, or current Baylor students? Lol anything?? There are hardly any post about people applying or inside information about the nursing program. :bored: :down:

I applied also Hesi 83 (not great) GPA 3.62 not great either but I'm praying God does a miracle and let's me in. Lol :). I went to their open house In may and fell in love with the school, program, and staff. I'm considered a transfer student from DCCCD.

Finally someone else responds! LOL.

Seems like we're in the same boat, since our GPA's/scores are pretty similar and I'd be transferring from DCCCD as well. Although, I did retake some classes and know that counts against me. But the advisor told me not to worry about it too much. Idk, hopefully we both get in! :up:

I wonder how many people have applied though. Did you apply for the spring semester?

I am also applying for spring 2014. I agree I wish we kne how many transfer applicants and how many Waco students were applying for sping 2014. I know it's competitive. Hope we get in :) God willing. :)

Yes, I guess it won't be until sometime in July when we find out. I'm supposed to be studying for the TEAS but keep thinking about my Baylor application that I can't concentrate right! lol. You're right though, it's in God's hands and have to trust in whatever outcome may be. Good luck sauceusteph!!

Hi!

I applied for the Spring 2014 session and I am so anxious to find something out! I am currently at DCCCD finishing up my A&P and micro courses. My HESI and GPA is not were I want it either but we will see what happens. I hear so many stories about how competitive all the programs are around here and it makes me nervous. Have either of you heard anything?

Hey! well yeah all of the nursing programs are competitive, but hopefully as the economy recovers that will slow it down a bit. As for Baylor, the only thing I've gotten so far was an email from the advisor. She only sent it to confirm that they have received my transcripts, hesi scores, and that we will know in July whether we got accepted or not. I'm still anxiously waiting :nailbiting:

I've applied to the Spring 2014 semester too. Haven't got mail from Tina yet. bstillo when did u get the mail from her, acknowledging that she received everything. I have a 3.75 science GPA and apox. 3.8 pre-req GPA, Hesi english composite 94 and Math 88. Keeping fingers crossed that i'll get admitted. This is my first time applying to Baylor.

Don't worry! It's only because I had retaken a class and she updated the degree plan to reflect my recent grades. She emailed me on Monday. It doesn't mean I have some sort of advantage trust me. My HESI english composite score is an 84 and math 94, science gpa 4.0 but 3.58 prereq gpa. I'd still have to take 2 language and 2 religion courses but only if I get accepted. If anything it hurts me that I retook some classes so already all of the people that didn't have an advantage. Good luck!
