Bauder College Pleasant Surprise

So I had a VERY NEGATIVE initial contact with this college. Through just ONE conversation it's apparent that this school is a for-profit. After calling the school I was transferred to their Atlanta campus...The guy answered the phone "are you coming to a information session" which COMPLETELY through me off....no hello, thank you for calling Atlanta...blah blah etc.. it was INFO session info session. He continued to cut me off, avoid all questions. and even got SNAPPY with me. Their customer service is absolutely a turn off and I don't believe this school will be a top choice for me. smh some people do not need to be in customer service... I could NOT believe this guy. Take a PTO day if you don't want to work.:rolleyes:

Well....I just found out I was accepted for the LPN progam, I'm thinking I'm gonna try and get in the RN program though.

Congrats Phrozenone! :yeah: How did you find out? Did you get a letter or a call?

Oh, Phrozenone I have a friend that was also accepted into the PN program that begins this month. She is also shooting for the ADN program that begins in November (she hasn't ruled it out yet. There are so many missed messages about if it has openings or not. I saw people interviewing for a spot today, so that only leads me to believe that there MUST be atleast ONE opening...:confused:, either way GOODLUCK!!!!!

Thank u!! I received a phone call....well...better yet, I had to call them to confirm that they received my results from the drug screening. Thats when they said I was accepted and that I will receive a call soon as well as a letter.

Has anyone gotten written confirmation of their acceptance. I was notified weeks ago by phone but still have not yet recieved any written confirmation or schedule and I am in the AUG 24, ADN-RN progran.. I know there is supposed to be an orientation on the 22 @ (9 or 10 ?).

I haven't either, it's good to hear that we're accepted HOWEVER.....I wanna see it in writing :cool:

Hope this helps....... I found out via the telephone also. I was told I would receive a letter as well, although I never did. However I am still VERY thankful for being accepted. But I understand it is soothing to have the documentation in hand!

I was told yesterday that I would get a letter in the mail in a few days. Orientation is on the 22 @ 10am

Hy everyone I got the letter today confirming the acceptance.. Also note the other page that states you will forfiet your spot if you do not complete your file ie proof of ins, physical, drug test cpr card, immunization record transcripts etc. I was already told about the orientation as well, and today my quad2 on kaplan was updated to show a class, so now I feel more comfortable with officially saying I start classes on the 24th of August.... hats off to all of us in the Lpn and RN programs for August.. we will keep all of you posted on the progress.
