So I had a VERY NEGATIVE initial contact with this college. Through just ONE conversation it's apparent that this school is a for-profit. After calling the school I was transferred to their Atlanta campus...The guy answered the phone "are you coming to a information session" which COMPLETELY through me off....no hello, thank you for calling Atlanta...blah blah etc.. it was INFO session info session. He continued to cut me off, avoid all questions. and even got SNAPPY with me. Their customer service is absolutely a turn off and I don't believe this school will be a top choice for me. smh some people do not need to be in customer service... I could NOT believe this guy. Take a PTO day if you don't want to work.
I dont know what to say about Bauder..It is indeed so unorganized and confusing. I passed both testing and I also cant interview because the slots are full for Nov. My problem is just like every other Nursing program you know the dates SPRING or FALL or just FALL for enrollment...so why is it that all the other approved Nursing Programs have this in order but not Bauder. You can NEVER get anyone online. I passed the test and waited for Ms. Lanier to talk to me for 35 min before I was told the test results took several hours. The school is promising, but im not sure im willing to promise to pay so much money to a school that has not have a set of any organization skills with a program so important. Im just a little irratated because NOBODY has any answers to ANY questions...I wish everyone well that has recieved the GO from them!
Hi. I'm new here...just today, as a matter of fact! I'm probably jumping in on someone elses post. I apologize, if so. I am having trouble locating the Kaplan Study Guide, especially since Borders is closing! Does anyone have a book for sale or can you direct me to where I can find it please? I went to Bauder the other day and took the Wonderlic...now I need to study for the Kaplan! Thanks
Well everyone, if nursing is important enough for you, you will find the way. It will require patience, understanding, alot of perserverance. The admissions process at bauder is no more complicate or anything than other schools. I applied to perimeter again for spring quarter, with no info from them, you can not call there and get updates either... so I know we all want answers now cuz this is so important to us, but the same is true for the other 200 callers a day. there is a bit of disorganization, but remember this is a process for all people involved. I will say if something doesnt seem right just keep being persistant till it gets "right by you." I wish we could all be accepted but that is just not the case, and it is only going to get harder for many as more and more find out and apply. Be vigilant about getting everything in asap that they ask for , then say your prayers. they accept 32 into each class, LPN and ADN.
I assure you I am flying blind as well, I am having faith it will all work out. I was accepted into the AUG-RN start and happen to have all my first term classes done, so I was supposed to sit out( you stay with your co-hort) till Nov. but by the grace of God or whomever the higher powers one believes in, 2 of the June canadates had acedemic issues and had to repeat a course(s). so I and another lady were given an opportunity to swap places with them. Now I am in my second term classes, and a term closer to graduating..... Talk about feeling lost, all of my new classmates have been here for the whole fist term, and know whats going on. Ibarely know where to go to find my classes. The point is I have remained strong, confident, and committed. So I feel whatever is meant to be will be. each of us have unique situation. therefore, what works for one may not be good for another, but we can get an idea of what to expect, and the possibilities. every program has its downsides, I assure you of that.
