So I had a VERY NEGATIVE initial contact with this college. Through just ONE conversation it's apparent that this school is a for-profit. After calling the school I was transferred to their Atlanta campus...The guy answered the phone "are you coming to a information session" which COMPLETELY through me off....no hello, thank you for calling Atlanta...blah blah etc.. it was INFO session info session. He continued to cut me off, avoid all questions. and even got SNAPPY with me. Their customer service is absolutely a turn off and I don't believe this school will be a top choice for me. smh some people do not need to be in customer service... I could NOT believe this guy. Take a PTO day if you don't want to work.
"I'm a little lost/aggravated too. I was told to report to orientation on Monday and that I will receive a letter....still no letter and it is now Thursday "
I can share your aggravation...I haven't been told when orientation is, I only received only a phone call telling me I was accepted (no letter or email or anything), although I have logged onto kaplan quad and it says I am indeed enrolled in classes starting next wednesday! glad I looked on here so I didnt miss orientation!
Okay so is it just me or is anyone else going through this too. so i got "accepted" to the LPN program for the fall. they gave me the call and told me to await for a letter will no letter i login into quad and no info there either so now this is crazy i am getting super worried. A call is not good enough .
i would call them tomorrow to get to the bottom of it. I had to call them to figure out why I had't really heard much other than a call. I know when I talked to Mrs. Lanier today that she said she would be sending out emails (to all those enrolled in the nursing programs getting ready to start next week) tomorrow at some point. I may not have gotten my letter because I was moving the week I got the call of acceptance. It has been an aggravating couple of weeks not having heard from them though.
The whole process has not been the best to me at all.....I hate to think or speak negatively and I'm trying my best to keep in mind that this is a new program and that they are still new at the whole process as well. I attended Gordon's RN program for 1 semester and had to sit out the rest due to personal reasons. Their application process was soooooooooo smooth and organized. However, that's comparing apples to oranges lol....can't expect the same from a new program. I know if I was a part of starting a new program, I would look at all of the surrounding schools and make their process a type of blueprint, an example of some sort.

Is your schedule for classes really 8am-5pm? I'm not showing any classes yet
Since no was able to provide me with this insight, I will pass it on to you all. I am a part of the first RN class at Bauder and for the most part all of your post was my experience with them. I received my acceptance letter Friday before orientation on Monday and everyone at the school is hard to reach by phone and I would recommend going in person. I wouldn't worry too much about.....

wow now i'm lost....last time i called i was told the nov RN class is full. i have done both testing thus far. no interview yet bc they said the RN for nov is full and they only interview when they have spots available so i can interview for the next RN start. However im debating if i want to interviw for the PN program for november, i wasn't asked if i officially wanted to but i guess if i would like to i should call back? i haven't had any interview, no drug/background with them (although i got those done with my current job and have a copy just in case lol)
What to do what to do?
Also is everyone getting enough financial aid to pay for the school? i have a BA and i don't think i can get anymore fed help probably on loans if that.
lastly i'm looking to get my foot in the door at a hospital here. i used to volunteer in the grady ER. maybe i should go do that again to network....
In the meantime i'm still doing a quarter in my master program but i will be leaving if i get into Bauder. Any rumors about 2012 classes?
