Baton Rouge Community College Spring 18

Published

This is a forum for students planning to apply to BRCC in Spring 18' for acceptance into the Fall 18' or Spring 19' semester. I'm just looking to get to know fellow prospects and/or future classmates. Anyone that wants to discuss comments/concerns about BRCC's Nursing Program.

Would you say that the Vocabulary on the test was hard and did u see some of the same words from your study material? @Katrina01 @littlebit__

It wasn't bad! And if you study the book you will be golden. I'll say that much :) know how to work out math problems on scratch. Know your conversions. Ratios. Decimals. Fractions. Proportions.

I have been working in the math section today, starting at the very beginning. Its amazing how much I have forgotten and I'm glad I'm taking the time to start with the basics.

Hi all! I just took my Hesi and scored a 94.8 overall. I have applied to the LPN to RN bridge. Thankfully they have accepted all of my credits from LSUE and SLCC so the only pre-req I'm short of is intro to psych (could have sworn I took that during my 20 years of off and on college lol) so I am completing that this semester. Next week I have the Fundamentals Challenge exam and I'm wondering if anyone has any study guide suggestions? I'm not clear on whether this is the NACE or a Hesi/Elsevier based exam.

I also have a 3.44 GPA! Im hoping to score at least a 90 on hesi

I am beyond nervous. How are you studying for HESI?

Hello there, was there any Metric conversions or roman numerals on there thank you

How many of you are using or have used (already in nursing school) the HESI app on your phone to study? Or the HESI practice tests that you find through google? Are the questions similar to the actual test? Thanks!!!!

There's always a chance of getting metric conversions or roman numerals. You should just memorize them. Easy points in case you do get it.

Can anyone verify if you get HESI scores as soon as you finish the test?

Thanks.

I have heard that you get the scores as soon as you finish.

Yes. You get scores as soon as you finish. I checked my scores walking to my car last year

@littlebit....is there a website they give you to log in to..to check your scores?
