This is a forum for students planning to apply to BRCC in Spring 18' for acceptance into the Fall 18' or Spring 19' semester. I'm just looking to get to know fellow prospects and/or future classmates. Anyone that wants to discuss comments/concerns about BRCC's Nursing Program.

I have studied some in the past but none lately. I know my biggest problems are biology and grammar.

The hesi is not that bad. You should do fine. I made a 94% overall by watching the Hesi YouTube videos made by Keshwani Prep and taking a few practice quizzes on quizlet. Be sure to look at the Vocab (medical terms), Math (ratio/proportion), and A&P. Your hesi score matters more than your gpa.

Hi, I am applying for the 2nd time. Spring 17 I had 2 classes at BRCC 3.4 gpa and 90 Hesi. From what I was told I was next on the waiting list for acceptance if someone else had dropped. Not sure what Number I was in the initial selction but was told I more classes at brcc would increase my chances the next cycle. so now I have a 3.5 gpa 3 classes

Yes. The more classes you have at brcc the better!

BRCC doesn't test on A&P & they will tell you not to study it. They test on biology-study the biology info provided in the book & you'll do fine. Everything is basically the foundation to math science reading vocabulary & grammar.

I just submitted my application today. So, hopefully good things in my future.

I scheduled my HESI for March 8 on 1-4:30PM

Does anyone know how the Spring/Fall semester split starts?

I know they randomly assign students to start at one semester or the other, but does that mean the earliest starting class is Fall 2018 or does it mean Fall is actually 2019? Thanks!

Hi everyone! It looks like all of you have good GPA's. Hopefully we all do good on the HESI and get accepted! Does anyone know if there is any way we can find out how many applicants there are this year? Or if anyone has asked? I think it would be good to know that, just so that we can know what our chances are. I'm not sure if that information is available to us though.

Nobody knows lol. You can't find that out until you're admitted & that's if they WANT to tell you. Our round in 2017 had 360+.
