Charity School of Nursing Spring 2019
Yes. I spoke with the Charity School of Nursing (pre nursing advisor).. I called her and asked if they will consider our summer courses for our application on July 1st. She stated "No, you must have a grade already for us to consider it and use it on your profile score sheet" the profile score sheet is what they use to determine if you get accepted into the program.

I agree!

Charity School of Nursing Spring 2019
You can take classes that are needed for the degree.. they just won't be considered for application process

I talked to the academic advisor today... she said that classes that we complete over the summer semester will NOT be used when evaluating our application and will not be used on our profile sheet when applying. Therefore only classes taken spring of 2018 and before will be considered

Yes but your courses that you take over the summer will not count towards your profile score to get into the program

Charity School of Nursing Spring 2019
Hi Gnoelle! I'm also applying on July 1st for the Spring semester... and yes it was always in August that they took applications before. They just recently changed it a few months ago. And yes as far as I know you can still be enrolled in classes over the summer, I've seen people do that before. They don't determine if you are accepted until after the summer so you just submit those grades when you are finished with them. If you would like to email me you can so we can talk about our applications lol. If not we can just talk on here. Email: [email protected]

BRCC Nursing Spring 2018
Hey jacklynaiello, I am applying with a 3.8 GPA and I don't take my HESI until Monday and I am pretty nervous about it. How was it? Can you tell us what type of problems were on the Math portion? I emailed the dean of nursing a few weeks ago and she said that they received over 300 applications this year

2018 applicants to Baton Rouge General and/or Baton Rouge Community College
Hi Moosmom, First off, good luck to you! Sorry for the late response but I don't know how to get notifications when I get a response on this forum. I'm sure you probably already took your classes but if not, I would recommend Dr. J for A & P. We aren't supposed to put names on here but she is the only one who's name starts with a J. And I took Algebra online. Did you end up applying this spring?

2018 applicants to Baton Rouge General and/or Baton Rouge Community College
Nurse2Be20, if you don't mind me asking, What did you apply with last semester that you didn't get in with? Only asking because I'm just trying to get an idea of what they accept so that I know what my chances are. I turned in my application 2 weeks ago and that is all I've been thinking about since then haha. Fingers crossed for both of us!

Baton Rouge Community College Spring 18
Hi everyone! It looks like all of you have good GPA's. Hopefully we all do good on the HESI and get accepted! Does anyone know if there is any way we can find out how many applicants there are this year? Or if anyone has asked? I think it would be good to know that, just so that we can know what our chances are. I'm not sure if that information is available to us though.
