This is a forum for students planning to apply to BRCC in Spring 18' for acceptance into the Fall 18' or Spring 19' semester. I'm just looking to get to know fellow prospects and/or future classmates. Anyone that wants to discuss comments/concerns about BRCC's Nursing Program.

We got ours June 14-20th

Save money lol. Because if you get accepted you have 24 hours to pay for a back ground check & , finger prints. Which is close to $200. And then you have about a month to buy all of your supplies. Scrubs. Stethoscope. Etc.

Does BRCC make you buy a certain package that has the stethoscope and stuff? Or do they not care as long as you just show up with a stethoscope?

Also, where did you end up going to get your fingerprints done?

They don't care where you get it or how you buy it. But they require a certain type. And you have to provide a receipt. í ½í¹„í ½í¹„ so it could be ordered on amazon. Wherever. & you get fingerprints done at the police headquarters over there on independence in Baton Rouge

They do require a specific place to purchase scrubs. That's it though. They don't care where you buy the rest of the stuff from

I used the pocket prep app and the HESI assessment study book! So sorry I am just seeing this!

Unfortunately, I made a 90 on all parts of the HESI except biology, which was below a 75, so my application was disqualified. Good luck to everyone though!

Im sorry to hear that, do not get discouraged, I know many people who have failed hesi this time around. What are your plans now?

Was this HESI harder than the previous ones or something? I don't know anyone outside of this board who is applying for this program.

Not that I know of. I know around 30 people applying at BRCC, just from previous classes and my classes now. Do you have any classes taken at BRCC?

I have 5 including this semester. I just never really talk to anyone. lol
