This is a forum for students planning to apply to BRCC in Spring 18' for acceptance into the Fall 18' or Spring 19' semester. I'm just looking to get to know fellow prospects and/or future classmates. Anyone that wants to discuss comments/concerns about BRCC's Nursing Program.

Hey guys I applied this semester. I am finishing up A&P my HESI was a 87 and my gpa is approximately a 3.6 (if i can't pull this B up)! I hope this is good enough to get in. Im really nervous. In the beginning of the year I spoke with several people who had applied but most didn't pass the HESI.

HESI 95.2, GPA 3.6, critical thinking 910. Now we wait......

Hope finals are going well for everyone.

I heard some people are getting application voided/denied letters already if they failed the HESI.

If you haven't passed HESI, have a D or F in prereq coursework, have not completed prereqs, or do not have the required GPA and it is not possible for you to receive the minimum required GPA by the end of this semester, you will receive a denial letter.

I am getting anxious.... I know they cannot make a decision until all final grades are in for this semester, but does anyone know when they sent out acceptance letters out last year?

AFAIK,

From the 2017, the earliest comment about getting accepted was June 8th. So we're literally a month away from finding out if we're in or not.

I just assumed that they wait to mail denials at the same time as acceptance. But maybe it makes it easier for them to go through applications if they start earlier by removing the ineligible ones.

Hey yall!! I am waiting on this letter and freaking out... i have a 3.8 gpa and a 89% on the hesi..when do we think we will get these ACCEPTANCE letters?? :)

Hi Littlebit, I was reading back through this thread and noticed you're already in the program. Are any of the core nursing programs offered during the summer semester at all? Or is it spring/fall only?

Only during the spring & fall! And It depends which group they put you in as far as which semester you'll start in
