Bassett Medical Center Interview

Hey all, I am a new grad BSN May 2012. Finally have an interview coming up in 2 weeks at Bassett Medical Center in Cooperstown (upstate). I have a friend that works there already and loves it up there. Anybody else been hired there? Ow was the process? And the interview with the nurse managers? Any advice?

Also, when u call to HR for a follow up should i directly speak with a recruiter or just ask if they finalized their decision? Do they check references and backround before or after they call u? Again, thank u for providing such a valuable info.

Not sure if it's the same time each month. Bassett orientation is two days then nursing orientation is four more days after that. They called me with an offer pending references/background check.

I got the same phone call. She said they need to check references. Is that a good sign?

Yep, I got that call the day before I was offered a position. I start this week with orientation so if you are offered a position, feel free to PM me with any questions.

I got a call yesterday. Woman said it takes 2 to 3 business days. So im assuming fri 1 day mon 2 wed is the 3rd. So sometime next week. How do u pm anyway?

I have a clean backround and my references r good. I just ccoldnt understand what does she meant by saying that im am considered to be a one of final applicants? Does this mean they its going to be a proposal or another interview?

Hi calypsa, got a phone call with an offer from them today. Starting orientation in couple of weeks. Soooo existed.
