  1. I'm not sure. Did they offer you an interview by now?
  2. If you don't mind answering, what floor are you going to?
  3. It definitely is. There are a couple weeks worth of nursing orientation lol.
  4. At your pre-employment visit they will give you a paper with the pay schedule. It is bi weekly pay, so if you start on the week checks go,out, it could be almost three weeks until your first one.
  5. It my case, it was a proposal to follow soon after that comment.
  6. I forgot there are restrictions to that on this site. Just ask here then
  7. Yep, I got that call the day before I was offered a position. I start this week with orientation so if you are offered a position, feel free to PM me with any questions.
  8. Not sure if it's the same time each month. Bassett orientation is two days then nursing orientation is four more days after that. They called me with an offer pending references/background check.
  9. 48 hours. Mine might have been a bit more rushed since I know there is an orientation starting next week. Good luck!
  10. Even though I didn't have to reach out, they told me I could call HR after a week for an update.
  11. They are looking for people who want to learn, aren't afraid to ask questions, and most importantly dependability.
  12. I had my interview last week on two different floors. It went exactly as what has been described earlier in this thread. The managers and the nurses on the floor were very nice. Within 48 hours I already had a job offer . The nursing orientation is 4 days long, so I'm not sure exactly when I'll be on the floor. Good luck!
  13. I bought a pair of Any Wear shoes for my second year and they are a dream. I have the injected high globe ones and even though they are not the prettiest shoes, my feet feel amazing during 10 hour clinicals. They run pretty cheap to, about $30 a pair.
  14. My sister-in-law graduated from their nursing program in 2011. She hated it there and advised me strongly against attending their program. My fiancee finished off a bachelor's there in an non-nursing program and he said the campus was very unsafe and had seen a few assaults, including one with a knife (he graduated in 2010). The campus looked very nice but more than just these two people have told me horror stories about the school.
