Hey all, I am a new grad BSN May 2012. Finally have an interview coming up in 2 weeks at Bassett Medical Center in Cooperstown (upstate). I have a friend that works there already and loves it up there. Anybody else been hired there? Ow was the process? And the interview with the nurse managers? Any advice?
HI MYSAK,
i am going to start from dec too. I was offered from medical and surgical, but i choose medical to work. can you send me the list from provided from HR. I spend my two days calling agents and people and i am in desperate need of room as i have no place to stay. can you send me the list via email [email protected]
thanks
Hi Deepa,
Hope my response isn't too late. I managed to find something in the end. I would suggest looking at the tourist rentals first, they are pretty decent month to month except they kick you out in the summer months and up the rate for tourists. You can maybe do that until you can find a more permanent apartment. When are you starting orientation?
First off, thank you to everyone who offered great advise in this thread! My second interview with Bassett is this Friday via Skype with 4 different nursing managers. It's a 2 hour interview and I'm preparing as much as I can, but need some advise! What type of questions were you asked during the second interview? Any advise you have is so incredibly appreciated!
Good morning everyone,
I just got a phone interview with Bassett Healthcare this morning and they said they will set me up for an appointment to go to Cooperstown for an in person interview. They also told me that they are offering an OR Nurse Residency since I would like to start in an OR environment. Has anyone been to Bassett's OR Residency or were the other heres that were hired just hired as Regular OR Nurse and not on the OR Nurse Residency? Anyone had any experience on this?
