Hey everyone!

Just wanted to see who all is applying for Barry University SCRNA program for 2021! Anyone have interviews yet? I have one scheduled in 2 weeks!

Any current/prior students with advice on this program?

That’s good to know. I’m scheduled to take the GRE August 1st but I would like to go ahead and submit my application.

Hey All,

It’s been years since I last posed on this site. I applied to Barry for the 2024 cohort, first pick West Palm and second pick South Florida. Had interview on Friday the 26th, felt it went well.

Metrics for those interested:

6yrs ICU, multi specialty 3 of those years as an ICU traveler.

Rapid Response Team nurse, ICU preceptor

Unit based council/education committee

CCRN

AACN research poster

GRE q149 v156 w4.5

ASN GPA ~3.2

BSN GPA ~ 3.4

recently retook organic Chemistry with an “A”

All in all, I feel I’m well rounded over all and kind of a middle of the pack candidate.

Will report back when I get an email regarding acceptance or not.

Hey everyone! Excited to say that I’ve been accepted into the Orlando campus, interviewed last Friday and got the acceptance letter yesterday! I’ll be moving from out of state so I’d love any advice on housing from anyone familiar with the area!

Congratulations to everyone who has gotten in so far, and good luck to all those still waiting! I’d love to connect with anyone else in the program! Is there a facebook page made yet?

Is anyone planning to take the “transition to nurse anesthesia” online course? Do they look favorably at those who register?

I haven't seen one yet but I got accepted to the Tampa campus!!

I registered and withdrew. Got in regardless. I don't think there is any preference.

I took to course back in 2016. Im not sure that it gave me an edge during the application process because I applied that year to Barry and didn't get in..LOL

Hi. I'm good. I was scheduled to take the GRE at FAU but I was recently informed that the testing center is now closed, so I have to schedule my exam to be taken at home. I'm still working on my application. Hopefully, I'll have it in mid-August.

CONGRATS! Does anyone know how often the admissions committee meets? I submitted July 5th and hope to hear back shortly regarding an interview. CONGRATS to all who have interviewed and been accepted! You earned it!
