Hey everyone!

Just wanted to see who all is applying for Barry University SCRNA program for 2021! Anyone have interviews yet? I have one scheduled in 2 weeks!

Any current/prior students with advice on this program?

I graduated with my ASN May 2017. BSN May 2019. BLS, ACLS, PALS, CCRN. Three years currently in MICU at a level 2. I think my GRE was 152 V 148 Q with 4.5 writing as well. I’m 25 so a little young, but extremely excited to get started and keep pushing forward on those dreams!

Nice to meet you! It's great that you're this young beginning this journey. It's gonna be incredibly challenging but extremely rewarding ?

I submitted it w/o GRE scores but my application wasn't reviewed until after I took the test and sent them my scores. If the GRE is literally the only thing you're waiting to complete, go ahead and submit the application and when you've gotten your scores back just email Barry with your score sheet. The NursingCAS will allow you to submit your app to Barry w/o including your GRE score.

I'm pending the GRE and science course (will be taking their anesthesia course in the fall). Can I submit if I have everything else?

Yes! You can be accepted pending results and the class!

Someone mentioned that they are not even looking at your application if you don’t submit GRE scores.

The will accept the application, then when you take it you can submit your scores and then, if applicable, you would get an interview.

Interviewed this am, went well I think. Mostly personal questions like planning to be distance learning, how to cope with stress, etc.

Yes, but I know a few others that didn't and they still got interviews.
