Hi everyone! Excited to say I was accepted into the program at the Hollywood campus!  Interviewed on August 28th and received the email yesterday. Is there a facebook page yet? Can’t wait until May!

Hello Dmill, Could you provide any insight on your interview? Clinical aspect and personal questions?

Congratulations on your acceptance! I actually just created a page so that we can all connect with each other. The FB group is called “Barry CRNA DNP Class of 2024.”  Excited to get to know everyone!

Hello and congratulations to everyone!

I've been reading the thread and I'm starting to get nervous... I just started on my application, hoping to turn it in by the end of this week. I didn't realize that they started accepting applicants before November.

The only things left on my list is the GRE (scheduled 9/30) & an updated science. I really hope there are seats left.

Hello all,

I was admitted to the class of 2023 and just wanted to say I applied without my CCRN, PALS, or my updated Chemistry and was admitted contingent upon completing them prior to matriculation. I took the transition to anesthesia course offered by Barry and completed the other two shortly after interviewing. Best advice I can give is to get your app out there ASAP! A few people were admitted contingent on improving their GRE scores as well. The majority of us found out on Friday a week after our interviews. The latest acceptance was in April from a student off the waitlist. There was a total of 1.5k due within two weeks of an offer to accept the spot and 1.5k due two weeks after that, so plan accordingly. Good luck!!

Hey thanks for that, do you have any info on waitlisted students? How many get in?

@MansaMurse I know 90% of people joined the fb group by late February, but I’m not sure how many were waitlisted

Ah OK thanks. If you don't mind my asking. What were you GRE scores? Thanks again.

@MansaMurse I scored a 303 total: 152 verbal (52nd percentile), 151 quant (41st percentile), 5 on writing (92nd percentile). From what I heard with people who had to retake theirs, school wanted at least a 300 overall and 30th percentiles. GPA: BS 3.3, accelerated MSN: 3.9.

Has anyone taken ANE 695 at Barry university and ended up not  admitted irrespective of having all the requirements.

Hi guys! I have an interview coming up for the May 2021 start. I’m super excited but anxious (As one would expect LOL) would anyone who’s already interviewed be able to provided some feedback on what to expect. Not asking for questions but more so the style or how many people are in the interview. Things of that sort ? thank you!!

May I ask when you submitted your application?

I submitted early September! They offered me an interview Sept 25th but I was going to be out of town so they scheduled it for mid October instead.
