Barry CRNA Starting 2017

Just thought I'd start a thread for all of us applying! I'm planning on completing my application pretty soon. Taking the CCRN this week, and then I'll be ready to go! :o How are you all faring?

Also, does anyone know anything about the Tampa campus? I'm going to try and go for that one.

I'm just wondering if anybody got any news. Any update would be appreciated.

No news yet. Interviewed yesterday in Hollywood, FL. It was exactly how all the previous posts said. A couple of presentations of the program and financial aid, spoke with 2 Barry alumni, a CCRN/Chem type quiz, and then an interview of pretty basic getting to know you type questions rather than clinical questions. I think there were a total of 9 candidates present at my session. Will hear back 7-10 days from yesterday. Fingers crossed :nailbiting:

Nice. I contacted someone from admissions to see what was up with my app. I was told my app is competitive, and I should hopefully hear something. The ADCOM should be meeting soon. She also said they're interviewing 10-15 people at a time. Good luck, I'm sure you will get in.

I talked to somebody from admissions Friday and was told that there will be interviews on 6/8, 6/15, 6/29 and one more in July

Hi, How did you hear about these interview dates? The coordinator told me the next date will be in the end of July???

When I called two weeks ago the admissions office told me there will be an interview end of June. I called today and asked for any updates and was told there is an interview on June 15th and another one end of July.

I just spoke with someone in Anesthesia program not the general Barry admission I was told that they will have interviews until August.

Seems like there is no definite date(s) for upcoming interviews. The waiting game continues. Meh.

and the waiting game continues. I was told either July 22nd or 29th for the next interview date. Based on the numbers given, if all 9 from the last interview get in, and assuming nobody has forfeited their spot, there would still be 21 open seats. I'm curious to see how many people will be at the 6/15 interview.

I thought I was told 12 in the 15th group, but have no way to confirm that number until I'm there.

I haven't heard anything yet. Is there another interview date after 6/15 that they've contacted anyone for?
