Barry CRNA Starting 2017

Published

Just thought I'd start a thread for all of us applying! I'm planning on completing my application pretty soon. Taking the CCRN this week, and then I'll be ready to go! :o How are you all faring?

Also, does anyone know anything about the Tampa campus? I'm going to try and go for that one.

Well they say they only accept 70, but if you look at their stats, it's clear that they've accepted more than 70 students more often than not. With the exception of prior to 2007, 2010, and 2015, they've matriculated more than 70 students. In fact 88 students matriculated in 2013. In theory maybe they can only accept 70 students, but their stat sheet says otherwise.

Specializes in ICU.

Keeping my finger crossed for all of us!!!!

I talked to somebody from admissions Friday and was told that there will be interviews on 6/8, 6/15, 6/29 and one more in July

Oh wow. Thanks for the update. I knew they hadnt called everyone one they want to interview yet. But didnt know there would be so many more rounds of interviews. Interesting.

Goes to show how little we all know and we're all just speculating haha. I'm curious to see how many people there will be at each interview. During the webinar they said that it gets a lot more competetive after May 1, perhaps this is what they meant. Good luck everyone.

I got invited to the June 15th interview. Anyone else attending that one?

Hi. Grats. When were you notified of the interview?

Cool. What are your stats? Yrs of experience, gre, avg gpa?

iculvr, BSN I tried to respond to your message but I guess I have not posted enough on this site to reply.

They haven't said anything about retaking it yet, but I wouldn't be surprised if that is required for acceptance since I was 147 quant and 152 verbal. I know they have accepted people with similar scores though without having to retake, so we will see. I submitted my application beginning of April and everything was in by May 10th give or take a day or so. Hopefully you'll hear something soon!

DachsRN,

Hi I sent you a PM.

Thanks

Hi there, I can't send PMs due to my account settings for some reason.

I have 5 years experience in total, 2 years MSICU, GPA is like 3.7 or 8, not completely certain I didn't calculate out last 60 (I have like 200 credit hours), I also have my CCRN and PCCN. GRE not that great 147 quant /152 verb /4.0 writing. I would call and find out if your application was forwarded to the admissions department.
