Barry CRNA Starting 2017

Just thought I'd start a thread for all of us applying! I'm planning on completing my application pretty soon. Taking the CCRN this week, and then I'll be ready to go! :o How are you all faring?

Also, does anyone know anything about the Tampa campus? I'm going to try and go for that one.

I wonder what the interview is like

Very weird. I never got any emails like that ever. I had to call and email the director of admissions pretty frequently in order to make sure all of my documents were received. Eventually I received a verbal notice saying my app was forwarded to the admissions committee although it doesn't reflect it online. Maybe I never got the emails because I called so frequently? Haha..I can't conplain though. They were all nice and responsive even though I felt like I was bugging them.

i think I remember them saying in the webinar that they will hold two more interviews with a possible third interview in August implying that the next interview will be held in June.

they also said the longer you wait to apply/interview, the more competetive it becomes. I'm sure everyone will hear something soon. They said they try to give at least 2-3 weeks notice prior to interviews.

My application was submitted 3/25, and everything was complete by 4/24. It took a while for my packet to be processed because I mailed it to them.

Your interview is 6/15? I got a call yesterday too, but my interview is 6/8. I wonder why they're doing interviews so close together. I wonder if the COA granted more spots for acceptance.

I wish i saw your post yesterday. Now I have to wait all weekend to figure out whats going on. What time did they call you? Do you think they called everyone already?

Crnahopeful: I don't know, but I wish mine would have been the 8th, then I wouldn't have to try to move my work days around. Luckily, my employer has been very helpful through this process.

Sweetether: They called around 1. I don't know if they have plans to call more applicants, sorry. GPA: 3.78 overall, 3.85 BSN, 5 months surgical/trauma icu, 7 months medical ICU, 3 years OR, 7 years Paramedic, GRE 315.

Well if there are two more interview dates in June, with each session being 15-20 students, and applicants were notified Friday, I doubt one person would be able to call/email all 40 people in one day. Im hoping to hear something Monday :sorry: . Good luck to all!
