Just thought I'd start a thread for all of us applying! I'm planning on completing my application pretty soon. Taking the CCRN this week, and then I'll be ready to go! How are you all faring?
Also, does anyone know anything about the Tampa campus? I'm going to try and go for that one.
Very informative thanks for this!! Also I am wanting to know how much of a notice did you receive that you were granted a interview? Were you notified on 3/1 that you had a interview on 3/20? I heard that a few students had one weeks notice to purchase their flight to Florida for non Florida residents. Thanks again for your insight :)
@fre2017 I think you and I are in the same boat. Have you been offered a interview yet? My application is submitted. Any idea of when the next rounds of interviews are (after April 15th)? Or if anyone else knows. Good luck everyone!
Thanks for this! Very helpful!!@wm1234 Do you mind sharing your stats? I recently submitted my application and I'm anxiously waiting for a call for an interview. I have about 5 years of critical care experience, mostly in CVICU, CCRN-CSC-CMC certifications, 3.6 overall GPA, and a 301 on my GRE.
@ level1traumaicu_ Awesome! How long ago did you submit? What are your stats like? Gre scores? Try not to fret over the CCRN my friend who is in the program now was conditionally admitted. He had to obtain CCRN before he started in January. You'll be fine.
I also submitted my application and waiting for an interview. I plan on taking the CCRN in 2-3 weeks so I submitted my application without it. I know that they value the CCRN highly, so hopefully that missing credential doesn't keep me from getting an interview.
Hey All!
Just discovering this thread and love it! So glad to be able to talk with people in my boat. I just submitted my application late March/early April. Most of my stuff is submitted, but I'm still getting emails that my credentials still need to be sent. Only thing I have left is PALS, which I'm taking on Monday. I'm enrolled to take ANE-695 this summer. I have about 1.5 years of experience in a level one Trauma & Burn ICU, and about 3.5 years on Trauma/Burn StepDown Unit, where we had vents, ALines and drips. 3.4 overall GPA, CCRN, ACLS, BLS, ABLS (Advanced Burn Life Support), GRE: Quant 150, Verb 148, Analytical 4.0 . I'm super anxious and really hoping to get in this year. Should I be retaking the GRE? Anyone else hear any word of more interviews?

Your stats are great, you should have no trouble getting an interview. My stats are a 3.48 cumulative GPA. The last 60 credits is a 4.0 GPA. I have 1 year of flight nurse experience with the fire dept. 2 years of CVICU experience with recovering post-op hearts and transplants. I have my CCRN. My GRE scores are "eh". I did 100 hours of shadowing. Good luck!
