Hi everyone! Just wanted to start a thread for those applying to the CRNA program at Barry University starting January 2016! Comments, Questions, Concerns, Advice...
Also, is anyone in Miami interested in starting a GRE study group?
Hey everyone,
I am one of the very late applicants for the class of 2018. Send positive thoughts my way. I did not realize they were still holding interviews for this coming January when I was applying for the class of 2019. So I just submitted everything this evening and hopefully will hear something back soon. They said if I am competitive I should be getting a call for an interview. (3.91 GPA, 304 GRE, NICU and Cardiac ICU experience). Anyone have any suggestions for the application process or interview process?
Let me know what you all think. If it doesnt work out this year, the experience of just doing the application process was still good.
Best of luck to everyone
I dont have my CCRN. For NICU you have to have 2 years of NICU experience to take the exam and with adults I know you have to have a certain number of hours. I've heard they're going to conduct them mid-August.
What should I expect in the interview? Anyone want to throw out anything I should look at/review?
Thanks ecoomer! I'm glad there's still a chance for you and the others to be called for an interview. I honestly couldn't tell you anything more than all the others have said about the interview. It is very laid back. I guess they want you to be able to interact with them with the least amount of nervousness so they can see "the real you" maybe? No clinical questions were asked, just personal ones. You can pass the CCRN before January so that shouldn't be a problem.

It might not be a bad idea to contact them. They said at the interview to make sure that they had your correct email. It would be awful to get accepted and not know it because they don't have your right email address.
