Wake Forest H3A - AMAZING
Starting this August (2016) and was looking for some feedback about the H3A program. This has reduced some of my anxiety (thank you!!!). Could I private message you? I have a few more questions about the program/area (things I can do prior to August.. stuff like that) Thanks!! Brad

Hey! Ill find out tomorrow if I get to join you all! (*nerves*) Question... Did anyone get any financial aid from Barry? If I do get accepted I don't necessarily know how Im going to pay for tuition, housing, etc without paying all of it with loans... is it possible? I hate to say that their financial aid presentation was spoken to us via computer... not too much help.. any suggestions?

Just got out: they only asked me a few questions. Did anyone else interview with the asst director and a student? I was asked the typical "why Barry?" "Describe a typical day in your icu", "have you ever made a med error and how did you handle it?" And "why do you want to be an anesthetist".. I was told they like that I have Nicu and that I'm still kinda considered a "new grad". when I asked how they think it went they said "we think it went great, we encourage you to reflect how you think it as well"..? Thoughts? They said I'll know in a week

out of curiosity, how long is the waiting period after the interview until they start calling everyone up? Apparently they expect 16 (including me) applicants. And thanks @FAU2013. Hopefully I won't have to worry about the GRE in the next few weeks .

crnatb: I got a 152 on both math and verbal. That is pretty much "average" from what ETS says.. so yeah I would retake it. If the interview doesn't go as planned I'm going to retake the GRE for future applications

littlemissgator do you think I should get my CCRN with it being so close to January anyways? I may have mislead you.. I am 23y/o, and I just started my cardiac ICU job (as in last week). I do have over a year of experience in the neonatal ICU (level IV). We had ECMO, some 2-to-1 patients, but we see alot of diaphragmatic hernias, vents, UAC, UVCs, H.I.E, a ton of congenital hearts, and some dopamine/dobutamine drips. we do use a ton of fentanyl and versed. yourtuRN: thank you for the information, it sounds like it will be not as stressful as I imagined. I appreciate your input!

I dont have my CCRN. For NICU you have to have 2 years of NICU experience to take the exam and with adults I know you have to have a certain number of hours. I've heard they're going to conduct them mid-August. What should I expect in the interview? Anyone want to throw out anything I should look at/review?

Hey everyone, I am one of the very late applicants for the class of 2018. Send positive thoughts my way. I did not realize they were still holding interviews for this coming January when I was applying for the class of 2019. So I just submitted everything this evening and hopefully will hear something back soon. They said if I am competitive I should be getting a call for an interview. (3.91 GPA, 304 GRE, NICU and Cardiac ICU experience). Anyone have any suggestions for the application process or interview process? Let me know what you all think. If it doesnt work out this year, the experience of just doing the application process was still good. Best of luck to everyone
