Banner Nurse Fellows Program

Published

I interviewed for the nurse fellows program through Banner about three weeks ago and still haven't heard anything! I was talking to another girl there for an interview who said that her friend (I know, I know, don't listen to anything like this, but I can't help it!) got a call a week after her interview offering her a slot. Has anyone else interviewed and heard anything?

I don't know why I'm so freaking out about it. I'm already accepted into Mesa to start in January (I deferred) but I WANT TO GET INTO THIS!

I completely agree! I aced my NET and every class needed for the program to help guarantee my entrance and now I feel like the last 2 years of my life could have been better spent looking for scholarships and added classes for ASU. Now I have to wait another year or pay an obscene amount of money to go somewhere right away. Sad :(

Well that is depressing but I am hoping for July!

Please post if you hear anything from them :)

I called and spoke to someone today at Banner.. She said that starting as early as tomorrow they will be calling people to schedule interviews. All interviews will be completed within two weeks and the yes/no letters will be emailed no later than the first Monday in June. Good luck everyone and I hope your phones ring tomorrow!!!!

Got the call this morning! I have an interview with Banner! Woohoo! I'm sooo excited! :w00t:

Congrats back2class. I got a call this morning as well and am very excited about the opportunity to interview with Banner.

Were you able to attend the March information session? Did they mention what the shedule would be for the P-T program. I have the info from the December meeting, but was wondering if anything may have changed as far as the days/times the P-T program has classes/clinicals.

Congrats and best of luck to all those who receive a call today!

Me too! I am so excited!:yeah:

Congrats to you too NewBeginning! I did not attend the March info session...I actually attended the November session and don't remember them talking about the schedule. I guess we will find out in the interview. ;)

Congrats to ALL who get the call today and best of luck in your interviews!

At the March info session, they told everyone it would be 2 days during the week 5:30-9:30 pm with Saturday Clinicals. Hope that helps.

Congratulations to you guys!

I have a couple of questions...

Is there only a part-time program right now and where is it. I wanted the accelerated program at GCC but I'll take whatever I can get. Also the address that I have for the interview location does not come up when I Mapquest it, is anyone else having that problem?

Thanks so much!

Hi Jennaz,

I think the only cohort they are offering for July is at Gateway...the GCC program is gone for now. Not sure if they are offering the regular accelerated AND the part-time program for July...does anyone else know?

As far as the address is concerned, she told me when she called this morning to make sure and put in the zip code in order for the address to come up. I just tried it and it came up...it is on the corner of 12th St and McDowell.

Hope this helps! :)

back2class

Thank you so much!

I too was called Friday for an interview! I'm ecstatic! Just curious, does anyone know any recent questions that have been asked in the interviews? Ive gone though this whole thread and read stuff they've asked a few years ago, but just wondered if anything new was being asked.

Thanks!
