  1. Hello everyone! I was just wondering if any of you out there have experience with Grand Canyon University's FNP program? My main question is how difficult is it to work full time while completing the program? Or is there a certain point in the program that you go part time?? I really want to start ASAP but of course need to plan ahead with working ? Thanks!
  2. That's a great idea zmansc! This may be a silly question but, do you just call random physician offices and ask them these questions? Lol I am just not sure how to go about calling providers in my area.
  3. Hello everyone! I was looking for some insight from those of you that are nurse pracitioners in AZ or are in NP school currently. I just graduated with my BSN, have two years of nursing experience and am really wanting to start applying for FNP programs. While I have been looking into different schools and programs I feel unsure as to which program would be the best. I have heard some say if you go to a private school it is going to be harder to get a job as a new grad NP, you do not get as good of an education, go straight for DNP, etc. Does anyone have any insight as to what the best option would be? Thank you!
  4. So I was looking on the breakdown of charges on my.maricopa.edu and I was registered for a nursing pre-test..any of you guys have an idea as to what the pre-test might be on? The only thing I can think of is it might be similar to the NET or HESI...any ideas?
  5. of course! I'll bring it so we can all have a look :)

  13. Should we all meet somewhere at santan? Im not sure whats over there..but im sure we can think of a place to meet!
  14. Hey guys! I can meet tomorrow at 12 if you guys are also available..so just a heads up to everyone. If youre not already enrolled at Gateway I believe you have to do so (thats what my letter of intent said). I did, but since I was enrolling there I was being charged out of state tuition (weird..even though ive gone to Rio Salado and MCC) so I had to go down to Gateway and show them my drivers license. Just a heads up for everyone else that has to enroll there too..I know Banner said they wouldnt pay out of state tuition haha so just making sure everyone knows!
  15. Congrats melanie and ashley! I too wouldn't mind getting together again. I just got placed today! Woo hoo! I am so excited! I'm assuming everyone else did as well and we can expect our packets in a few days!
