Banner Nurse Fellows Program

I interviewed for the nurse fellows program through Banner about three weeks ago and still haven't heard anything! I was talking to another girl there for an interview who said that her friend (I know, I know, don't listen to anything like this, but I can't help it!) got a call a week after her interview offering her a slot. Has anyone else interviewed and heard anything?

I don't know why I'm so freaking out about it. I'm already accepted into Mesa to start in January (I deferred) but I WANT TO GET INTO THIS!

if you have the time to go to another one, i would just in case. better to turn in the most recent one than to turn in one that you find out later is no longer accepted.

My friend turned in her application for July and received a call for an interview and actually had an interview on March 31.

Does anyone know if on the Banner Nurse fellows application you have to hand write the essays on the back or can you type them on a separate page?

at the info session, she said she prefers that we write the answers on the application. she said we can type them out on a separate piece of paper, but she would like us to make it short, sweet, and easy for them by just writing it on the app.

I haven't heard anything either from Banner. I applied in Feb for both July and Oct... they said you would recieve an email either way indicating whether you've been selected for an interview, or they haven't choosen you for an interview.

I check my inbox daily and haven't gotten word either way.

Good luck to all those who are in the same boat, keep me posted if you hear something (or see something from them in your inbox).

I had my interview on wed the 21st for the July 09 cohort. I haven't heard anything yet. Anyone else?

A friend of mine had an interview for the July cohort in Glendale a couple of weeks ago and was informed that they would let everyone know on May 8th. Hope that helps.

I haven't even got an EMAIL indicating whether or not I'm getting an INTERVIEW.... should I contact them? I applied for July and October. No word as of now from them. At the info session they pretty much said "Don't call us, we'll call you" which is totally understandable, BUT it's almost been 2 months since I turned in my application. Any advice?

I am in the March cohor at GWCC and the Banner Rep. met with us on 4/27/09 and told us that they had just started interviewing students for the July cohorts. Good Luck to all of you that are waiting!!!
