Baker Students Waiting For Acceptance Post Here!!

Hey there everyone. Well, it is February 3 and I am starting to get very antsy waiting for a letter. Has anyone heard or received anything or other info yet? I hope they come before February 15. I'm sure everyone is going crazy by now. Have a good night.

Oh Yes, we are all going crazy. I did hear that they will come before the 15th. Please post here when you get your letter. At least you know you are in for sure, didn't you have 25 points? Good Luck and let us know as soon as you hear something

I hope that no matter what happens, we will all be able to make it into a program for fall '09. I'm trying at MCC (even though I like Baker a lot and I'm there currently), but at this point I just want to get into nursing school. I don't care where!
I think we all have to stay positive and support each other. Yes, we are all competing against one another, but I actually have a soul and I'm willing to support my competitors - especially those who have tried year after year to get in. I really admire that determination, and I believe it will pay off!

I was just re-reading this thread and have to tell you how much I agree with you about supporing our competitors. We all need to be supportive of each other and wish each other well. So many people only care about themselves and their own situation, and it makes you wonder if they will make a good nurse. Good luck to you and we will post as soon as we get our letters.

Yeah, I have 25 points. I hope I am in for sure, but you never know how the application process will go. How did you hear the letters will be out before the 15th? Thanks for the compliment. You have 24 points right? If I am not mistaken you have an impressive score and this was your second application, too? I wish you luck.

I am really nervouse about getting in and reading the posts today I am even more so. happymomof3 . . you say that you have 25pts and are re-applying . . . did you have 24pts last time and not get in, or did you retake the NET?

Also, Jabraham99 - you have 24 . . did you have 23 last time and not get in? I have 23.97 pts (A- in Oral Comm only - all A's in everything else and 7pts on NET) and I am so scared about getting accepted . . . this is crazy!

Last time #30 had 23 points. I can't imagine there are 40 people from 25 to 24. I think the 23's might have to worry though. Of which I am. LOL

Also, Jabraham99 - you have 24 . . did you have 23 last time and not get in? I have 23.97 pts (A- in Oral Comm only - all A's in everything else and 7pts on NET) and I am so scared about getting accepted . . . this is crazy!

It is crazy! I have 24.75 points. I applied last time around with 21.55 and the cutoff was 22.6. My problem was the NEt last time. I retook it and got all 7 points, so hopefully with the bonus point....I get in.

I had 21.8 points last time. 4.0 and a 69 on the net. I retook the net in November and received an 86. So now I have all 25 points. 23.97 points is awesome. I would think that you are in definitely in. The waiting is so hard. I wish they would just come already. :bugeyes: Again, good luck to everyone waiting. It is almost over.

If, by some strange twist of fate, you don't make it into Baker do NOT beat yourself up about it. Your GPA and NET score is phenomenal and you should be proud of yourself no matter what. Congratulations! :)

It is crazy. I agree with TS, if you don't get in by some weird thing... try not to get upset. The scores went up two points last time from the time previous. I am wondering how many had 25 points last time. This can't be the first time that has happened.

Waiting is so hard.

I also wanted to point out, that most of the people here keep saying they "received an 86 on the NET" or whatever test they were taking. No, you EARNED the grade. It is an important distinction.
