  1. Hi everyone, It has been awhile since I have posted . Just wanted to congratulate everyone who got into Macomb and to those who did not, do not give up.:yeah:I am currently in week 3, almost 4 of fundamentals at Baker's program. It has been a great experience thus far and a lot of work. Say goodbye to housework because you will be studying all of the time. Again, congratulations and good luck!!
  2. Hi to everyone! I am anxiously waiting to begin nursing fundamentals and assessment April 6. Good luck to those of you who will be applying soon. :wink2:
  3. To Gemberly, I feel really bad that you didn't get in. You are an extremely smart individual and you will make it into a program. Again, I am so sorry and I will be hoping and praying for you to get that acceptance into Macomb. Keep your head up.
  4. Congrats!!! I am so happy for you!!!
  5. It starts with congratulations and orientation is March 3 and 4 from 9-2. Attendance both days is mandatory. It does not say anything about ranking, though.
  6. Hilarious! I am anxiously waiting to hear from you all. Good Luck!!!
  7. Hi Everyone, My mail came earlier than expected. I received an acceptance letter! I am really excited right now and I hope everyone gets in, too. Again, good luck to you all!!! I am looking forward to meeting you all. Thanks for the words of encouragement.
  8. Hi jabraham99, No, my mail has not come yet. Mine comes between 12-2. I have butterflies in my stomach. Good Luck to everybody waiting!
  9. Hi Everyone, Letters were mailed out Feb. 5. Finally!!! I wish everyone all the luck in the world. We hopefully know today!!!
  10. Hi Gemberly, I know it is easier said than done, but try to think positive, either way be it Macomb or Baker, you'll be starting a program soon. You have 23 something points right? Do not count yourself out. You did awesome on the hesi, too. You should be extremely proud of yourself. I like how you're thinking the opposite this time around though, funny. I hope letters come tomorrow. I received nothing today. My letter last summer was dated July 24 so that would be a week before August 1. Hopefully, it will be about a week early this time.
  11. Hi tam0377 I had 21.8 points last time. 4.0 and a 69 on the net. I retook the net in November and received an 86. So now I have all 25 points. 23.97 points is awesome. I would think that you are in definitely in. The waiting is so hard. I wish they would just come already. Again, good luck to everyone waiting. It is almost over.
  12. I just would like to add that if we are determined enough and put our all into anything we try to do, we will succeed, we will get there, and we will all be great, compassionate nurses.
  13. Hi Jabraham99, Yeah, I have 25 points. I hope I am in for sure, but you never know how the application process will go. How did you hear the letters will be out before the 15th? Thanks for the compliment. You have 24 points right? If I am not mistaken you have an impressive score and this was your second application, too? I wish you luck.
  14. Hey there everyone. Well, it is February 3 and I am starting to get very antsy waiting for a letter. Has anyone heard or received anything or other info yet? I hope they come before February 15. I'm sure everyone is going crazy by now. Have a good night.
  15. Hi Everyone, Hope all is well. It has been a while since I have posted, just trying to keep my mind off waiting for the letters from Baker to arrive as I am sure everyone else is, also. I have read about the cutoff requirement for financial aid and I am starting to panic. I have 59 credits from Baker(just prereq's). I have not attended another college. I rely solely on stafford loans to pay tuition and the only grant I receive is the Michigan Tuition Grant. Will I still be able to get loans to pay for the nursing program? I already have to start paying for just my prereq's because my grace period is up. I also cannot afford the tuition out of pocket being that I am a stay at home mom. I really cannot afford to start repaying now, first payment is due Feb 6. HAHA. Any info would greatly be appreciated and good luck to you.
