Baker Students Waiting For Acceptance Post Here!!

Just thought I would start a thread for all of us awaiting letters from Baker for Spring/2009. Maybe we can all support each other while we are waiting and share any information that we "have heard" that may be helpful!

I heard the bar is pretty high this time, A LOT of re applicants!! With my net score of 81 = 7 points and GPA I should be around a 23.61 (depending on what I get in my last two classes, stupid Patho may do me in. LOL) I just hope that is enough :banghead: because I know one girl has a 25!

I didn't take the NET at Baker because I will not be eligible until the fall, but I wish all of you the best of luck. There are a couple girls in my speech class who took the test, and the one girl said she thought it wasn't too hard at all. She has A's in everything and one A-.

I hear that you guys will get your letters Dec 13? Or around then? Damn, that's right around the corner. Good luck to everyone - especially you, jabaraham. I've been following you and Gem's struggle into nursing school, and I really hope you guys both make it!

Does Baker provide for the nursing students?

I'm not really sure about that, I'm sure you could call the nursing office and check. Are you applying this time Happymom?

This is my first time, so I'm a little worried about how many people are applying with that extra point..... It makes me wonder if 23.61 will be enough.... what do you think? Have you heard anything.... are lots of people coming in above 24? AWWWW :uhoh3: I just can't wait until it's over!!!

Holly crud! Where are all these people coming fron?!?!? When I signed up a year ago, they said ...oh usually about 90 people apply....

Okay, lets not panic just yet......sigh/zen..... a lot of these people have probably transferred some things in or repeated classes *....so.... I think with a little help from God we may be okay. PLEASE GOD!!! A lot of people with something like 22 probably think they're in a pretty good spot.....it's just too bad that won't be enough anymore. :sniff:
