I will be taking the NET at Baker this spring. Does anyone know if their test includes A & P?

No it does not.
I has Math, English, reading, a couple spelling questions. That is it. Are you taking it at Clinton Twsp.? It will be a written test and each subject is timed.
Good luck. Have you bought the study guide for it? Here is the link if your interested: http://www.eriworld.com/
If you follow this book it is exactly what the test is like (obviously not the same questions, but you will get an idea of what it is)

Thank you for your help. I have read many of your posts and you seem to know a lot about Baker. I am at Clinton Twp. and finishing my prerequisites for the Nursing Program. I will apply in the spring. May I ask why you chose LPN over RN. I was just wondering. How many LPN's does Auburn Hills accept every year. Was it hard to get in? Any information you can give, I would greatly appreciate.

my girlfriend goes to baker and is also taking the NET in the spring at the Clinton twp campus and she said that they just added A&P to the test. SO, i would double check with the academics office or Nursing department.
Hope that helps:)
I didn't want to go the LPN route, but even with my 3.9 and decent NET exam they did not accept me. So I was accepted to the LPN one and as soon as I graduate I'm doing the bridge program and will have my RN with in 6 mos. Not to mention while I'm taking my bridge to RN online I will work and make around 28 a hour, not bad in my opinion.
To me the LPN didn't seem hard to get into, I took the HESI and got a 86% on that and my GPA is good.
Auburn Hills accepts 30 students a year for the PN program.
Good luck to you :)

When we had our meeting with Linda during the fall she did say that they hope to up the number of people to 40 and have a second class start in January. This is all if they get the 2nd round of accreditation accepted.
Are you talking about the LPN at AH or RN at Clinton Twsp.?
Linda actually left AH. Clinton Twsp. needed someone and they offered her the job over there so she left us during the first quarter
We now have a lady name Christine L. I really like her, she is doing a great job as DON. :)
Wow, that is awesome! I had no idea that LPN's made that much. Then again I really have not even checked into how much RN's make. I am just going on hearsay of others on the salary. But, wow 28hr! Is that avg pay for an LPN if you don't mind me asking or did you have a lot of expierence behind you??? I am just curious.

hey I was debating on which college to apply to for the nursing program (macomb or Baker). Do you know which one is easier to get into....my gpa is 3.5 and i have all my english in..computer...political science...and nutrition.. I dont know what to do because they ahve diffrent pre-reqs...Also how is the hesi test? How many questions are there?
Well, the Hesi at Macomb is definitely easier. Unfortunately you would have to wait until next year to take it. They are all full for this year. Also Macomb does not require any math prereqs. I am at Baker now, and have a 4.0 so far. That will change after this quarter. I am struggling with Algebra. So anyway, Macomb is easier as far as prerequs. but they also have a lot more people applying, so the competition is more. Have you checked into Baker yet?
