Okay, so I have read and heard about the PVT and that it works most of the time! But for those who actually did not get the good pop-up and got to the CC page...IT IS NOT 100% ACCURATE!!!I took the RN exam Monday for the first time... I got 265 Qs and was done in about 4 hours.I felt bad about it and wasn't really sure if I wanna do the PVT and get more devastated...I still ended up getting pressured by friends from my nursing program to just do it and so I did I went and tried the PVT.I followed the steps and tried to register for another exam...when I clicked NEXT and that page loaded, my heart dropped... >.I was hoping I'll be the exemption... and guess what?Just checked it today... on BREEZE CA site... it's official!!! RN!!!!So don't lose hope if you don't get the good pop-up!!!IT IS NOT 100% ACCURATE!!!Good luck to everybody!!! Keep praying!!! And if you do fail this time, there is always a next time!!!Time for some me time... Heading out to Comic Con!!! 0 Likes
Xaldin4life RN Jul 24, 2014 wow, who knew there wre Comic con fans on such a website, lol.Anyways, the pop up thing is 99% true. You probably didnt even get to the CC page and thought that u failed, whereas you didnt. 0 Likes
RNsRWe, ASN, RN Jul 25, 2014 There's a lengthy poll on this forum about the accuracy of The Trick, and it appears to be a correct predictor about 90% of the time. Nine times out of ten is pretty good, unless YOU happen to be part of the ten percent it didn't "work" on!Congrats :) 0 Likes
LSoMagical Jul 25, 2014 I got the pop up too..but I was able to pay the ATT again. I don't think NV has the same time frame though. I did 265 q and got the pop up. Enjoy SDCC! 0 Likes
my_key Jul 25, 2014 Anyways, the pop up thing is 99% true. You probably didnt even get to the CC page and thought that u failed, whereas you didnt.Nope. Like I said that page loaded. I got to the CC page. Was able to put in my CC info and even went ahead and clicked next and went to that last page where you either CONFIRM or CANCEL 0 Likes
my_key Jul 25, 2014 Thanks everyone! But yea just to make it clear... I did not get any pop-up at all, which meant it was a bad one.I was able to go to the CC page to pay for another exam. I honestly thought I failed because of all the stuff I heard and read about the PVT and that if you don't get a good pop-up it automatically meant that you failed.THAT IS FALSE!!! OR NOT ALWAYS TRUE!!! This was not the case for me and I just wanted to let others know to not rely on it and just wait for the official result!Good luck!!! How long after the exam did you do your last PVT? I have my suspicions about this.... that's why I'm asking. 0 Likes

Next one was before i slept that same day of the test, probably about 10 hours after...The other 3 were all the next day... 0 Likes
rn<3cat Jul 26, 2014 Yey! Comic Con! Congrats on passing! I would say that the pearson vue trick is about 95% accurate. So far about half of my classmates used the trick and it was accurate, they got good pop up and it coincided with their passing results. I failed the NCLEX though . I did do the pearson vue trick and it brought me to cc page. At that moment my whole world came crushing down and I needed a gallon of ice cream ...but yeah, the trick works , for those who are gonna take their nclex soon, I highly suggest using it, and even though it brings u to the cc page, don't fret, feel free to cry, it's better to cry now than later because you will need the strength to review again if indeed you fail. 0 Likes
RNsRWe, ASN, RN Jul 26, 2014 I guess the simple lesson to take away from this thing is if you want to roll the dice and play the trick game, be prepared to have it be wrong. It might be. It might not be.Personally, I'd recommend not doing it at all, as.....well, why suffer the wondering? If you don't do the trick, you'll be in the dark, that's true. But doing the trick doesn't necessarily break open the light for you, either. 0 Likes

megmarbach515 Jul 9, 2015 So the bad pop up is not always accurate? Im really nervous because I just took the NCLEX and felt good while taking the exam but now I don't think I did well 0 Likes

There have been more issues. No one feels like they passed. But the overwhelming majority (nearly 90%) of US educated candidates pass the NCLEX first attempt 0 Likes
