:tinkbll: 5 of my friends who'd apply for RPN assessment who are also a Pinoy RN, got their eligibility to write the national exam for RPN after 3months from the date of their initial submission of their application kit and fee :)

:tinkbll: hello jay_j

Yes, some people are not being given eligibility to write the national examination after completing the BET, the CNO will again ask another additional information for you to give them until you meet the current ontario baccalaureate degree in nursing and they will give you your eligibility.

best of luck :)

I'm hoping they won't require me to do bridging programs after I complete BET. is that still a possibilit?y or it's either I get eligible or just send additional info?

I think I'm getting my hopes up now. I just dread the thought of having to go to school again. I can't afford to :(

thank you so much for your responses!

:tinkbll: Keep praying :)

Hi Jay_J! Thank you. Concentrate with your BET and submit it immediately when you're done. Your papers will remain with your Registration Administrator until she receives EVERYTHING. If she does got everything thats the only time the Assessment Team will start your assessment. My assessment took 4 months and a day. In my case, I don't think its the BET that gave me the biggest points. I think its my bridging and RN license in Norway that has the more points. The bridging I did over there leveled up my BSN Education from the Philippines. I am an RPN licensed in Norway too but since Norway (like Canada) doesnt recognize the BSN education in the Philippines, I got an RPN license in 2006. I did a 1 year bridging over there (plus 2 years language course) and got the RN license in 2008. For me its good that CNO is asking more documents from the applicant. It meant that they are trying their best to see other options for you... fingers crossing...

:tinkbll: I totally agree on what you said. :) CNO is helping us out Internationally Educated Nurses to meet the current Ontario baccalaureate in nursing. :)

I really need to make time for the BET. everything's getting more hectic--looking for apartments and jobs online and I'm getting worried Coz time's ticking and there's no progress. going to Canada feels like jumping off a plane without a parachute...

I can't seem to concentrate with the BET this way. but I hope and pray I will finish the BET soon.. or at least before I have to leave the country.

thanks so much for the clarifications :)

Hi PiRn & jay_j!! are you both Filipinos?
