baccalaureate equivalency table from CNO

anyone who completed this table,,pls help me,,thank you

affirmative R.U.Serious... all PH RN are eligible to be a RPN here in Canada

pickles, can you PM me your email address? thank you :)

This is a serious misconception. If you fail to be able to register as an RN, you must apply to the provincial College of LPNs to be assessed. I've worked with nurses from the Phillipines who were granted an interim permit to practice as LPNs and managed to FAIL the CPNRE THREE times.

Not all degrees and nursing programmes are created equal.

My advice to IEN's residing in Ontario and waiting to hear CNO's decision, is to hope for the best and have a plan B. If the CNO decides that additional education is required, you may want to check into RBC' s scholarship for internationally educated nurses, information is available on both of these sites

Pickles what does that mean? So, you'r eligibility is in your way? I'm so happy for you... When did you take your rpn exam?

I'm sorry for the capslock. Its a keyboard problem.

i see.. i thought you came here in Ontario last Feb.. so you had your first assessment as RPN, then passed the exam.. and then continue your assessment as RN? i send you a PM... thanks pickels.. :)

^ No, I had my first assessment as an RN and I am not qualified. Then, I decided to have my credentials assessed as an RPN to jump start my practice as nurse.
