I posted my B grades and it seems like I am the only one? Am I or are all of you B students out there made to feel ashamed of your grades? It seems lately there has been an aweful lot of talk about being an A student. I was feeling kind of down about the fact that I worked my back side off and the best I could do was a B. Please tell me I am not alone here. I know I can't be but where are all of you? I know as far as averages go in my class of 40+ students only about 8 of them were A's for the semester. Please post so I can congratulate all of the other passing grades as well!
I will post mine. I am finally proud of my accomplishments!
B- Nursing 102
B A&P 2
B+ (last but not least) Microbiology
Anyone else want to share their sucesses here?:)

Hey, I'm proud to say that I got a B in Med-Surg. I also got a B in Nursing Perspectives. I think that very few in my class ended up with A's. Anyway, I am also proud of my accomplishments! I think you did very well, you got a B+ in Micro. I really struggled thru that class myself. I failed it once and had to withdraw once, then I finally took it and got a B, I was so happy and couldn't believe that I finally passed it. I've only got one more semester to go--Peds, OB, Mental Health, then I graduate in December!!!!!

and a smattering of A's. Just looking and it's split evenly, A's and B's. I knew I wasn't a 4.0 student, I never was. I set a realistic goal and I made it. I don't share my GPA with others, it's none of their business.

Woo Hoo!! that is awesome! I wish I was on my last semester but I still have three to go. Can you believe your almost done? I remember crying midway through my second semester thinking to myself how incredilbly hard it was. I didn't know if I was going to make it but I did. Good luck in your final semester!
I was wondering the reason you don't share your GPA? It sounds great to me! Good luck sounds to me your on the right track!

Since starting nursing classes I have become a B & C student! Everyone in our school is! There have been no A's in nursing classes for at least the last 2 years, possibly longer!
Ehh--had to edit it to say there actually might have been a couple of A's out of the N1 class that just finished--I don't know for sure. But other than them--none. They had the benefit of a massive curriculum change.

This semester, I got one A and two B's. My A was in music appreciation (a very easy class), one B was in microbiology with a very difficult teacher, and the other B was in Psychology. My B in Psychology was due to the fact that it was my first online class and it was weird getting used to studying differently than how I do for an in-person class. Last semester, I got a C in physiology, but I was pretty happy with that. We started out with 38 people, ended up with 8 at the end of the semester, and out of those 8 only 4 passed with a C as the highest grade. I was just happy to not have to take the class over again. The most important things to me are that I pass the class with a good enough grade to get into nursing school, I learn a lot about the subject, and that I did the best I could. I used to stress myself until I was sick over grades, but really I don't think anyone refused help from a nurse based on a grade in physiology or any other class, do you?
memphispandaIn our school the instructors have a saying C means continue!
Awesome grades! You should be so happy with your accomplishments!!!
Congrats on the great effort! When do you graduate?

I don't visit here very often anymore....maybe once a week so I just saw this post.....I was a 4.0 for the first year of school....excited and all. Then I hit some of my harder pre-reqs and was thrilled to get a C in Chemistry and Algebra....since my GPA has dropped...I went into Nursing school and was thrilled to get a B in it. I have since realized....I don't have to have a 4.0 as long as I can survive school and keep my family together. We live by the motto....C=RN!!!!!

This past semester, I got an A in Biology A&P II, A in English, but I never said what I got the semester before that!!! I had to re-take A&P II, and it caused my gpa to drop.
I was so darn proud, that was why I posted my A, because I REALLY want this.
I received a C in A&P online without much studying, so I challenged myself to really apply myself.
I also took Chemistry online, received a C (due to not studying), but got an A in the lab.
I am taking micro this summer, and I WILL get an A. My livelihood depends on this, so I am no longer messing around.

I know that although I did really good in hs and college years ago, going back t school this time, I will not over tax myself and plan to pat myself on the back for Bs or even Cs if the course was a real hard one. The only tiime I would be hard on myself is if I know I did not try and I got a C because after all, we are there to learn.

I was a B student in my nursing school days. Some of my friends got A's but they breathed , ate and slept nursing! I had, and have a life. Nursing is not all there is for me.
