I'm applying to APU's NP program this January and am sooo excited and nervous! I'm really trying to get accepted to start in Fall 2011 as I don't want to wait until spring 2012. This is my first choice (I've already applied to another school here) and I've GOT to get in! Is anybody out there waiting for decisions or has advice for the application process? I would've applied sooner, but they just implemented a rule where you have to have 12 completed credits for science, so I had to wait until grades got posted.
Same here, too. I am still waiting to here back from other schools, but Azusa is a top choice. Have you heard a lot about their program? I have tried to research more about it, but can't find to much. I am hoping to go meet with a counselor there and discuss the program, clinical rotations, and just learn more about it. Have you spoken to any prior students?
I emailed ---- to get a list of the hospitals for rotations (Kaiser, Sharp, Radys, Scripps Mercy, and varying community settings for Mental Health rotation) and I've done some research on my own. They have pretty good NCLEX scores and reputation. Haven't found any current students yet, though.Depending when I need to pay my deposit to APU, I was going to finalize my app to Concordia Univ (due early Feb). There are other factors tho- like i need to commute and i live in SD so itd be crazy far haha How about you- what other schools you looking at?
Soo I got an e-mail saying "Account Transition at home.apu.edu" but I haven't received a call yet.. did anyone else get this e-mail that was also accepted? It also says completed and Spring 2013... so I am not sure what to think! I don't want to get excited quite yet until I know for sure!

My account says complete, but it does say Fall 2012. Hope that helps......

I applied for the Fall 2012 and I got a call yesterday that I got accepted at the Inland Empire campus. Has anybody else being accepted for the Fall 2012 at the Inland Empire campus?
@ WhitBit - How long after you got the account transition email did you find out you were accepted? I got that same email, but haven't heard anything else yet. Really hoping that email is a good sign!!
I got the email on a Friday and I ended up calling them on Monday and they told me! But I received a email the next day from my counselor and then the acceptance letter the next day. Its not too long after! I think the email is a good sign :)
