I'm applying to APU's NP program this January and am sooo excited and nervous! I'm really trying to get accepted to start in Fall 2011 as I don't want to wait until spring 2012. This is my first choice (I've already applied to another school here) and I've GOT to get in! Is anybody out there waiting for decisions or has advice for the application process? I would've applied sooner, but they just implemented a rule where you have to have 12 completed credits for science, so I had to wait until grades got posted.

Hey guys- I have gotten a couple emails asking me about what the nursing program was like so I figured Id clarify everything through a post. I haven't started the program. I start Summer 2012 (this may). I will post about the program after the first semester!

Hi hannah it's goid to hear you are loving the program! I was wondering what hospitals do IE students go fir the clinical experinces. Do they assign you near the campud or your home? I would really appreciate your response! Thanks!!
For our first semester, we've all been at Kaiser Fontana. It's about 20 minutes from our campus. They don't base it on where you live, unfortunately. They have connections with hospitals all around the Inland Empire, and then they decide where each cohort goes each semester. I think we might also be going to Kaiser Riverside soon, but I'm not sure where else yet. Do you live near the campus or will you be commuting? In our cohort, there are two groups of people who carpool together- makes the commuting a lot easier!
