I was wondering if anybody has signed up with AVANT HEALTHCARE PROFFESIONALS, a USA based agency for NURSES and PTs, which currently sponsors NCLEX-passers. Any updates with your application?
I have started this thread thinking we could update on the process that you are undergoing since US visa bulletin is fast moving.
For those who signed up with AVANT, please. Share your experience with them here.
Thank you!
Sorry guys for not giving you an update on my journey so far with AVANT Healthcare Professionals.
I had my exit interview on Feb 4, 2016 and have been in the US since March 12.
I sat for the NCLEX-RN on March 30 and I am now a US RN.
Today is my last day in the transitions program at AVANT corporate office in Orlando, FL.
It's been a smooth journey so far and I'm looking to commencing my assignment by the end of the month.
If all your documents are in order, you will get information about the NCLEX review and registration with a board of nursing. If you have passed NCLEX already, you will be instructed on how to apply for visascreen certificate. The immigration process will begin after that. I assume you have signed the contract.
Hi auschris! may i ask what will be the next steps after sending the credentials to them :)
yes you are right, i passed the nclex already and i do have an ongoing vsc application. Am I near on completing the whole process or I still have a long way to go before getting a priority date :) How long did you wait to received a priority date? thanks!
once your employer files I140 and it is approved then that is the date of your PD
They are legit but the pay is not competitive so I didn't pursue. I took a different agent and this time, the rate is competitive and almost as it should be to where you will be assigned. The offer was $25.00/hr in an expensive city but with the other agent, it was 30.00/hr plus geographical allowance of $1.25. Good luck to all.
@auschris, waoh! congrats please. I rejoice with you. I can't wait to accomplish mine. Waoh! Great! Happy for you please. Please inbox me your email address at: [email protected]. I need to make some clarifications. Thanks please. Waoh!
Hi i'm a pediatric nurse from Philippines. I had my skype interview with one of their recruiters and just took their competency exam for Pediatrics (since it's my area of specialty) and luckily I Passed it (80.80%). I'm currently waiting for the results if I will be accepted to their program. Moreover, I don't have NCLEX yet and they said that they are going to sponsor my cgfns, nclex exam and the airfare to US if ever and all the necessary fees along the way til greencard application. Sounds too good to be true, and I'm overwhelmed!! Anyone here experienced the same or had been a succesful client of Avant? Thank you so much!!!

I signed the AVANT contract on June 28, 2015 and had my exit interview at the embassy of Feb 4, 2016. So, everything took just under 8 months
