From the e-mail we got a couple months back they say it should be toward the end of the month to the first week of November. Knowing ACC it’ll probably end up in November. We should be getting our Calculation e-mails in the next few weeks I believe. It would be nice to get them in the next 2 weeks but with COVID and how weird it’s been this year I doubt it’ll be on time.

Also the vocational program, I think, has a different approval time then we do. Not 100% sure but I think both programs hear back at different times.

My nursing skills class feels like a train wreck ?

@ashleeb1006 I feel the same way! Especially incoming mastery check off. By the way are students even allowed to go to campus right now to do check offs?

@ANatalie, I'm at CYP and we're going. Haven't been on campus in a month and aren't allowed touch the mannequins to practice. I had to go buy all my own vital sign stuff and we have never actually practiced before being tested.

I feel the pain, I haven’t gotten to campus in a month too and had to buy my own equipment as well to practice but Its still kinda hard to practice other skills tho. I’m at EVC and so far we’ve been told we’re still going too.

Just finished my check off. It really hate how this class is being set up and done. No ability to practice yet we’re tested on the mannequins like we’ve been practicing skills every week.

Did it go well? I have my check offs tomorrow and I'm feeling super nervous about it.

They were very lenient. But it was DEFINITELY not ideal.

Be sure you have your entry and exit measures down pat. Be sure you know your PPE and how it goes on and off, and where.

Has anyone gotten the ranking email yet? My friend who got in for Spring 2020 got hers last year the first week of October. I'm surprised it's taking so long!

@ashleeb1006 I think it’s just they are overwhelmed with the amount of applicants :( even when I applied last application period ratings went out later than they should have been.
