Austin Community College ADN Spring 2020

Hi pre-nursing students!

So I know it's extremely early but I figured I'd go ahead and start a thread for Spring 2020 applicants. I'm a huge worry bug and have tons of questions and would love to give and receive advice throughout this process. I'm completing my last two prerequisites this spring and will be applying when the application opens on May 15th! Tell me about your journey and ask questions about mine!

Which tab is it under? Like student planning, process, etc? I don’t see anything that says petition and waivers on my end.

Thanks! I went there and didn’t see anything, yet anyways. Should I be worried?

They didn't send ours out until Thursday. I wouldn't worry yet.

Just breathe, @ashlynhope! It takes some time for them to enter everything in. Go ahead and add the section that you want into your course planning so you only have to click the register button when your petition goes through!

@ashlynhope I haven't received anything either. I agree, it's SO stressful. Especially when you see all the skills classes filling up. It's definitely making me think that my low ranking score has something to do with it, but try to stay positive! I know I am! ? ?

I got the petition and signed up for Wednesday’s 4:30-8:50 at cypress creek! Anybody else get signed up?!

Does anyone know by any chance what days the open lab for skills will be at eastview for the late September class. Or when in general open lab for skills is AT ALL? That would be super helpful! I am trying to figure out my work schedule for the semester and from what I remember open labs for a&p & micro were usually on the Saturdays?. Plz if anyone has info! Thanks.
