Nursing Students School Programs

Hi pre-nursing students!

So I know it's extremely early but I figured I'd go ahead and start a thread for Spring 2020 applicants. I'm a huge worry bug and have tons of questions and would love to give and receive advice throughout this process. I'm completing my last two prerequisites this spring and will be applying when the application opens on May 15th! Tell me about your journey and ask questions about mine!

I got my results a couple days ago.

Hey!! I’m a fall 2020 applicant & I will be taking the nursing skills course this semester. Did anyone buy the potter & perry textbook in ebook format when they took this class?? It seems to be the cheapest option!

If you’re interested you can download the book free online from libgen? I saw it on there a little while ago if you’re cool with doing that sort of thing. I’ve downloaded tons of books from that site. Or Z-Library. My saved link for the download is: gen.lib.rus.ec/book/index.php?md5=FF364CDBFD7E37C89490735E88DD1921

Anyone know the dress code to orientation? Probably just comfy clothes?

Hi guys! I am a Fall 2020 applicant and I just got my ranking today. I was wondering what the acceptance rate is or more so what ranking number is most common to get in? I stupidly took A&P2, Micro and Pharmacology all at the same time and it ended me up with 3 Bs and one C. I just wanted to know if anyone else has any grades like my in the pre-reqs and if they still got in ?

Thank you in advance and hope you guys are doing well!

People who got a little higher than 36 were accepted first. I was accepted a week later with a 36.

The fall 2019 semester there were a handful of students that were accepted that had at least one C from their pre-req's. The cutoff for the Spring 2020 cohort was 36, but heard they took a few that had 34. Don't fret. I too, got 3 B's and a C in the four pre-req's. Have you taken skills yet? That class also boost your points. Hope this helps to ease your mind.

Yes I did take skills and got a B+! I appreciate the response I definitely feel better!
