Nursing Students Post Graduate

Published

Has anybody else applied to Augusta University for the doctoral anesthesia program starting in 2019? Looking to start a discussion regarding the application/acceptance process.

Specializes in ICU.

Yeah, it's twice as much! I'd be coming from Texas. Does anyone know how you can qualify for in-state? Moving there early or possibly qualifying the following year?

I read that you or your parents have to reside in GA for at least 12 months prior to enrollment.

Who here has applied to multiple schools?

I understand that they will notify everyone after all interviews are complete.... early May.

Specializes in SRNA.

I'm interviewing April 30th at 3pm. Looking forward to meeting you all!

I interview at 1130! Good luck. Ill be at the lunch too. Good luck to all!

Does anyone know where/when the lunch is? My packet has the option to check if you are attending lunch, but it doesn't say a time.

I had my interview already. I had an early interview so I stayed for breakfast. Everyone is held in an auditorium, you snack on food while you wait for your interview time, and you get to talk to students about what your life will be like if you attend AU. It should possibly be the same for lunch time as well, but not sure.

Congrats! I'm interviewing on April 30th just before you. Look forward to meeting you all there. Anyone have kids?

Any ideas on about how many interviewers there are in the panel? And about how much time did you guys take for the whole interview process? Trying to plan my travel and flight :)

No kids here. Just a doggie :)

Is anyone interviewing from out-of-state?

I'm in-state from the metro Atlanta area....about 2 1/2 hours from Augusta. Married with two children. Wife is a nurse and understands the stress and struggles of nursing school. Still makes me nervous. A healthy fear I guess.
