I hope for all of you too! I did not get in last year and I never expected the call this year, I had given up but I got the call woohoo, now im so excited!

Aww, well I'm so glad you got accepted. No one should ever give up on their dreams. Do they tell you why you weren't accepted? I would hate to be rejected and not know why. Was your gpa really high this time?

They didnt say why but I asked for advice and really already knew why. I didn't do well in bio 2114 lecture & 2117 lecture. I retook them and honestly didn't do but a tiny bit better. So that's why I gave up. I figured all my chances were used up by retaking those lecture classes and not doing better. But somehow I got in this year, I'm seriously surprised! Must be slim pickings this year hahaha!? I dunno, but I'm very thankful and hope I can make it til graduation. I will be putting my all in this for sure!

I havent heard anything yet. I am assuming that you re-took your classes that you didn't do well in in the summer or fall of 2014, and made it into the first ranking? I would be a part of the second ranking BC I was still finishing my core this spring. Do you happen to know when orientation will be? I'm trying to plan a vacation but don't want to until I know orientation won't be that week.

Got a call a couple days ago and accepted a seat for the fall program. They had just finished 1st ranking, 2nd ranking is still going on so if you hadn't heard back yet don't stress too much about it :)

If you're a transfer student, Augusta tech will only calculate your gpa for the hours you took at the institution. Lucky for me I have a 4.0 (otherwise I believe it only would have been between 3 and 3.5). My TEAS I achieved an overall score of 82%, with science and math being my highest marks, at 99 and 90. My reading was at 81,and english usage was my lowest at 64.

I haven't heard anything either, but i did talk to the counselor and gave her my new number. She said that ranking is still going on and everyone will know by mid-july so I'm guessing that she means second ranking. I was freaking out at first, but I'm handling it a little better now lol.

Congratulations!!! Thank you so much for posting because I was literally freaking out. Also thanks for posting your gpa and scores. You did an awesome job. My gpa is only 3.57 and as far as my teas, it was a 70 overall. I'm literally not good in science and I took this before taking my science classes (not smart) lol. My math was 83, English 76, Reading 73 and Science 54. I wanted to retake it, but I was told there was basically no point. Now I'm wishing I had. I really hope I get in.

I got my official paper telling me I got in in the mail today and that's all it says rig now. Still waiting on email.

Well the good thing is that you did make it in. Thanks for posting the Orientation dates. I am definitely going to keep those dates open just in case I am accepted. I am the type that likes to plan ahead so I've been researching everything like stethoscopes, shoes, where to get the cheapest books, etc. I cannot wait to start.
