Augusta Tech Fall 2015
Have you thought about USC Aiken for rn to bsn? I saw Chamberlin but I believe one of the needed classes they require you to take on campus.

Augusta Tech Fall 2015
Thanks, I'll have to check that out! My son has coverage through United Health Care, so I called them today to see what can be done. I'll pay $60 a month for short term coverage that will last til the end of the year. Deduct is only$2500 so its not horrendously bad. I hope that covers that portion though, or else I wont be able to participate. Worst case scenario, I just wait a semester and try my luck at Aiken Tech. The dentist that quoted me $45 for an examination is Dr. Michelle Claeys. For exam and cleaning I believe she quoted me $125ish, so there maybe cheaper options out there. Augusta Tech Fall 2015
To those that pick up your packet, was it just the Clinical Forms that need to be filled out and returned during orientation? I went to pick mine up today and that was all that was given to me. Also, I dont have health insurance, so I signed up for short term coverage to last through the end of the year (so i can sign up again for open enrollment). Hopefully that is enough to cover me and fulfill requirement number 11. Did anyone have any recommendations or go to places for dental, physical, and titers? I was thinking about going to the health dept. for titers, and there's a dentist I know that will do an examination for about $45. Not sure where or who to see about a physical other than the minute clinic in CVS in North Augusta. Any help would be appreciated.

[h=1]@kskarzin91[/h]Now that you have graduated, did you find it hard to apply for jobs since Augusta Tech is not nationally accredited? Do you plan on doing rn-bsn, and if so, what schools did you think about/have applied to? I have read that most in our area will only take graduates from an accredited program. Thank you for your time :)

Augusta Tech Fall 2015
Got a call a couple days ago and accepted a seat for the fall program. They had just finished 1st ranking, 2nd ranking is still going on so if you hadn't heard back yet don't stress too much about it :) If you're a transfer student, Augusta tech will only calculate your gpa for the hours you took at the institution. Lucky for me I have a 4.0 (otherwise I believe it only would have been between 3 and 3.5). My TEAS I achieved an overall score of 82%, with science and math being my highest marks, at 99 and 90. My reading was at 81,and english usage was my lowest at 64.
