Has anyone applied to Augusta Tech's ADN program for Fall? I can't wait to find out who's been selected; the anticipation is probably going to kill me.
According to what the advisor told me and from what I have read from previous years applicants, the letters will be mailed at the end of July for sure... I'm so impatient and have anxiety just thinking about it! When I found this thread I started researching every possible ADN question and before I knew it, it was 3 am. I am not 100% about my GPA bc I took some of my core at GRU, and ATC doesn't calculate that on Angel. From what I have calculated, I have a 3.625 GPA (on the core classes) and I made an 84 on the Teas test. I was feeling really unsure about my chances for admission until I started reading about other applicants who had made it and their scores were identical to my scores. Most people I know have a 4.0, so i didnt feel confident until i read some previous applicants comments. I'm just crossing my fingers, saying my prayers, and trying not to stress too much about it bc I cannot do anything at this point to make my acceptance happen! I like having the insight from this thread though! Did you post your scores previously? I cannot remember bc I read so many topics the other night.

LOL! I've read the posts on here over and over again. I don't think you'll have anything to worry about because you did much better than me and the counselor said I was great. Even with her saying that I am still extremely nervous because there are so many people who's done better than me. I don't know a lot of people with a 4.0, but I'm sure there are some. I did post my scores previously, but its ok. I made a 70% overall on the TEAS and my GPA for the core classes is 3.57. No where near a 4.0 so I'm still extremely nervous. I was going to retake my TEAS test, but the counselor said there was pretty much no point since the requirement for the TEAS test was only 58.7.
I am not applying to the program but I graduated from the Augusta tech ADN program dec 2014. btw right now we have a 100% nclex pass rate for our class :) if anyone needs books or advice PM me.
Kskarzin91, I need books but I don't know how to pm you. I went to your about/profile page and it didn't allow me. Must be because I'm new to this What books do you have and how much are you asking for them? I definitely need first semesters books for now and the rest later.
Mon morning about 8:45 Jessica shine called and said I was accepted and I would be recieving a smartweb email with important info in a few days :)
That's just great! I'm definitely going to email her and let her know. I really hope I get the acceptance call, because I put all of my eggs into one basket.

LOL! I know the feeling, trust me. I don't think I could be any more nervous than I am right now. Someone said that letters aren't going out until the end of July. That seems so far away. What does your GPA & TEAS score look like, if you don't mind me asking?
