Hi everyone,
I've been a lurker on allnurses for years, and finally am finishing up school to move forward for my Associates at Broward. Unfortunately, they have totally thrown a monkey wrench in the pre-req requirements, and now I'm going to have to wait until Jan 2015 possibly to get into that program!!!!! I have all pre res done except for the new math, CHM and new Micro pre-req. This is devastating. I'm wondering though, is it possible to take the Micro and Lab in the summer and somehow slip in for the August 2014 program, or am i bananas?
I need serious help.. I just realized the HOSA course at ceufast.com is 1 hour. Alongside the TB and HEPATITIS course it will add up to 5 hours instead of 6 hours, which is required at BC. One more thing, at ceufast it's hepatitis C. Meanwhile, BC asks for hepatitis. Help, anyone?[/quote']If I were u I'd go see Nicole at Central or the nursing admission dept at the campus u want to attend. I did all my cues at broward so I don't know what to do when it comes to ceu fast

Hello ,
I am an LPN; however, I applied for Generic RN because I missed application dead line for LPN to RN transisition. My Hesi scores overall was 81% and GPA 3.42. Do you think BC is still accepting application for August RN program?
I turned my application in to Nicole @ Central Campus, roughly about 2-3 weeks ago, my status still say "Pre Program Application".
Thank you.
I am losing my patience; I almost feel like giving up. I don't know why we have to do a million things just to start the program. We have so many things to do that I don't even know where/how/when to start.
Yeah I know it's frustrating, that's why I got those ceu's out of the way early and even so we still have all this physical etc stuff to do. Just breathe, you have till August 1st so don't stress and give up. U busted ur butt to get this far

Dont give up you are almost there. Make a check list and cross each item off as you get it done. Thars what I did.
