Hi everyone,

I've been a lurker on allnurses for years, and finally am finishing up school to move forward for my Associates at Broward. Unfortunately, they have totally thrown a monkey wrench in the pre-req requirements, and now I'm going to have to wait until Jan 2015 possibly to get into that program!!!!! I have all pre res done except for the new math, CHM and new Micro pre-req. This is devastating. I'm wondering though, is it possible to take the Micro and Lab in the summer and somehow slip in for the August 2014 program, or am i bananas?

I too am considering the online program, I have heard that it is challenging/hard (well actually I heard BC's Nursing program online and on campus, is harder than most period) however I agree that just because some else finds something challenging or hard it doesn't determine how I will do init. I am also no stranger to online. Many times people underestimate online courses and do not plan accordingly, you have to be just as dedicated and make a schedule just like if you were attending classes on campus, and keep up with work and assignments. In any case, pending that I go this route, (I'm almost 90% sure I will) I would love to join a serious study group. Maybe we can come up with meeting times, etc after registration?

That would be great! As long as we help each other, compare notes and motivate each other we will get good grades. What town do you live in? I'm in Tamarac.

I went to do the forensic drug screening today at Quest and didn't pay anything. I guess we pay when the results come back.

Hi,

i'm confused about the laws Ceu now.

I see laws is with respiratory therapy (3 Ceu) for another campus- this is not on north's requirement, should I be concerned??

It has to be purchased from the college book store. Especially if you plan on attending south campus.

This may be the case. I asked the woman where would I receive my receipt and she said that she sent everything electronically. So I guess the code that BC told us to write on the form is where she sent it.

They will eventually charge for drug screening on your bc account.At orientation they said they are changing some things so they are not charging us right away.i would check your bc payments anyway.
