Hi everyone,

I've been a lurker on allnurses for years, and finally am finishing up school to move forward for my Associates at Broward. Unfortunately, they have totally thrown a monkey wrench in the pre-req requirements, and now I'm going to have to wait until Jan 2015 possibly to get into that program!!!!! I have all pre res done except for the new math, CHM and new Micro pre-req. This is devastating. I'm wondering though, is it possible to take the Micro and Lab in the summer and somehow slip in for the August 2014 program, or am i bananas?

I still have'nt received North's email...oan I just got confirmation that the rules and regulations from ceufast.com will be ok too...it's wayyyyy less reading!

Have anyone heard about the hybrid online option? Thinking about it.

Does anyone know when we'll receive email with info on back round and physical? For central??

There is the online option but the dean for central said there is a high failure rate with it.

I'm going to do online! I wish I could do face to face but I have responsibilities during the times of lecture so that's the best option for me. I hope all of us who do online can form a study group! Let me know..

Yeah she said the fail rate is high. But that shouldn't determine your own fate.. I have always been successful with online. When doing online courses you have to be very disciplined and study hard! And keep in regular contact with the professor. If we form a serious study group I think we will be good!

And she also said that if they don't get a reasonable applicants for the online program they won't have one, for example she said if they only have 9 or 12 applicants, they will not have an online for this term.

Does anyone know any other places where I can buy scrub pants?

Central just sent an updated schedule

Sent from my iPad using allnurses

There is no longer an error message when registering for the CAE0644 class.

Hello,

I too am considering the online program, I have heard that it is challenging/hard (well actually I heard BC's Nursing program online and on campus, is harder than most period) however I agree that just because some else finds something challenging or hard it doesn't determine how I will do init. I am also no stranger to online. Many times people underestimate online courses and do not plan accordingly, you have to be just as dedicated and make a schedule just like if you were attending classes on campus, and keep up with work and assignments. In any case, pending that I go this route, (I'm almost 90% sure I will) I would love to join a serious study group. Maybe we can come up with meeting times, etc after registration?

Hey guys! Have those who are planning to go to the Central campus received the email for the drug tests and course number list?
