Hi everyone,

I've been a lurker on allnurses for years, and finally am finishing up school to move forward for my Associates at Broward. Unfortunately, they have totally thrown a monkey wrench in the pre-req requirements, and now I'm going to have to wait until Jan 2015 possibly to get into that program!!!!! I have all pre res done except for the new math, CHM and new Micro pre-req. This is devastating. I'm wondering though, is it possible to take the Micro and Lab in the summer and somehow slip in for the August 2014 program, or am i bananas?

You need to speak with students currently enrolled at south and central to get the rest of the hospitals they go to. I know for sure the ones at North since that's where most from the group ahead of me went.

South is memorial regional and memorial south, memorial manor. I would think joe d. Is for most campuses as well.

Are you guys in the program?

Have to turn in my application tomorrow! Missed her by 3 minutes :( she has a dropbox but I want to personally hand her my application just to be on the safe side

Sorry this is sooo long after you asked, but I had to go to work after I left and i JUST got home. I went to Building 8 and they told me to go to admissions. I went and (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) was with other students but the campus was super empty. I only waited about 15 mins and then I went to her cubicle. I asked her about my gpa and she told me I was fine. I also asked about the hesi and she said that they want to start evaluating on the 15 but for me ill be taking it on the 19 and that was OK, because she doubts they will be able to do them on the 15. She just said to bring her my scores when I was done and all would be fine!

I know Central goes to Plantation Gen., and Broward Medical Center and Cleveland center too. If there are others im not sure about them

Ok, now I can relax and stop being so nervous about my GPA. (Who am I kidding I'm still nervous, lol). I'm going to turn in my application on my lunch break, I don't want to wait until I leave work and risk missing her again. Fingers crossed that she'll be there and not on her lunch break as well lol

So I bought the Perry & Potter Fundamentals of Nursing textbook and the Skills and Techniques book off Amazon a few weeks ago, they're the 7th edition though but they were dirt cheap so I was like why not?!

I've been searching for a reading list of North campus Exam 1 chapters so I can start reading after I take the HESI. I know it's still early but I've always been the one to procrastinate and I really want to make some changes before I get into the program, can't be a procrastinator all my life lol. When we're accepted I'll purchase the updated edition of the text, should'nt be a big difference in the information, right?

If anyone comes across a chapter list for North campus it would be greatly appreciated if you'd let me know, THANKS :)

Hello everybody!

I turned in my application this passed Monday and I have to say I'm VERY VERY concerned! My GPA is 2.9 and I got a 86% overall. Am I **** out of luck? or do I have a chance? and also what do you think about retaking the section I got my lowest score on?

Best of luck to all of you!

My advice would be to retake the one with the lowest score if you want but I think you should be ok.

thanks I feel a little less stressed now :)
