Hi everyone,

I've been a lurker on allnurses for years, and finally am finishing up school to move forward for my Associates at Broward. Unfortunately, they have totally thrown a monkey wrench in the pre-req requirements, and now I'm going to have to wait until Jan 2015 possibly to get into that program!!!!! I have all pre res done except for the new math, CHM and new Micro pre-req. This is devastating. I'm wondering though, is it possible to take the Micro and Lab in the summer and somehow slip in for the August 2014 program, or am i bananas?

Good question, I'll have to ask when I get there. I hope it doesn't matter just as long as we take it before they start evaluating.

quick question guys, how long do we have to take the hesi since were applying first without it?

You have to take it before they start evaluating because sometimes they have to look at it depending on your gpa. So ill will say that it will be better to take it maybe one or two weeks after you've actually submitted ur app.

Ok thanks. I plan on doing the hesi on the 19th then. Give myself some extra study on vocab an stuff

Is there anybody doing the program @north campus?

Im going to central, im here now waiting to apply

I'm in a loop between Central and North. I live equal distances from both but my job is 5 minutes away from Central. I really like North campus though, but then again that new building they're building at Central is the new Nursing building and I'd like to see how it is. (Not really a good reason to go there lol)

I really want to find out which hospitals each campus attends for clinical rotations then I'll make my decision!!

I just something about that they say north and central use HCA, Tenet, broward hospitals and memorial for their clinicals....

North campus goes to North Broward Medical, Coral Springs Medical, North West Regional, University Hospital and Holy Cross.

Central goes to Plantation General, West side Regional, and I'm not sure but Memorial and also North Broward

South I hears goes to Memorial and sometimes Joe DiMaggio depend.

I'm mote familiar with North Campus and my friends go to that campus.

Thank you so much!!

I'd like South because I want to go to Memorial and Joe DiMaggio but it is just too far for me.

So I'll definitely be going to North; I don't like those hospitals for Central.
