August 2014 for Broward College

Hi everyone,

I've been a lurker on allnurses for years, and finally am finishing up school to move forward for my Associates at Broward. Unfortunately, they have totally thrown a monkey wrench in the pre-req requirements, and now I'm going to have to wait until Jan 2015 possibly to get into that program!!!!! I have all pre res done except for the new math, CHM and new Micro pre-req. This is devastating. I'm wondering though, is it possible to take the Micro and Lab in the summer and somehow slip in for the August 2014 program, or am i bananas?

So far I've heard north campus is the hardest and the best one.

I believe they send that out in July. We still have some time to go lol

Do you think I'll shoud be fine with a 3.36 gpa and a 89%hesi average? I wanna start in August so bad. Do you know anybody who got accepted with lower score?

Hi I'm already accepted for May just deferred my seat for august. You're more than fine. They pretty much accepted everyone who applied. Literally lol

I was already replying before I saw you mentioned me but my GPA is the same and my hesi is 91% and I was on the high end of the scale to be honest.

Yeah u should be really fine with that gpa and those scores. Mine is a 3.1 so im super nervous. Gonna do hesi soon

Good.. hopefully everything will be alright. It's gonna be a long time before I know if I got in or not and to tell you the truth I'm just impatient..

Do you guys have any idea on which campus is the best? I've heard so many things about them that I don't know yet where I wanna do it.

I've not heard anything either. I was told mid-June so I guess we still have a few more weeks of waiting.
